Naked and Clothed

Funny thing.... When I had my first breast augmentation, my boobs looked HUGE naked. They appeared much smaller in most clothes.

Now, I have had them fixed, smaller, lower projection and they look SMALLER NAKED THAN THEY DO IN CLOTHES!!!! I swear, my boobs must be an oddity because I do not hear this on the forum much/ever.

Can anyone recommend a good sports bra to smoosh them down a bit? LOL

I always thought my boobs looked bigger in clothes than without (I mean first breast augmentation and second).

I wished I could help you on the sportsbra answer. I just got a few from figleaves that are supposed to be awesome -- and I hate them! LOL!

Maybe it is just the type of clothes we are wearing--however, I do not want to change my style just to have boobs. Smaller boobs will be in the works in the future. It may be two or three years down the road, but they are coming!!! LOL I just wish I could say this was swelling, but really do not expect any changes in cup size at this point--HOWEVER, it has happened for some, and maybe I will be lucky enough to have it happen as well.

I don't know about the clothes, Len. I have tried EVERYTHING! Truly.

I do understand the dilemma because I am in the same one!

I am hoping that I lose more of this weight (not that there is much) or let me better say: when I put on a little more muscle and tighten up, I am hoping that these puppies go down a little more too (from losing my own adipose fat). I really would just prefer SOME boobs but not A LOT of boobs.

**sigh**

sports bras don't seem to help me conceal my boobs....There is only so much you can smoosh an implant, since it's not like a natural boob.

What I have noticed, some bras make you look bigger. The thicker the material/padding, the more boob you generate. So, maybe do a day of bra shopping and try on several difference types of bras. Maybe a bra that is smooth and unlined (so you don't get bigger), like a barlette or something like this

I hope one of these work. I bet you look great and were so used to seeing our body one way, we don't even realize we look good even now!

I was struggling with my re-do size but now I have come to terms with it. They are a little big larger than last time, but my body is more porportional now. And with your re-do, I bet you love the less projection than previous breast augmentation.

Do you got any new pics yet; so we can see?

Thanks for the suggestions, SEXYWS6MAMA. I wear nothing but unlined bras, but have thought about trying a bralette. I like the choices you picked out.

I am wondering if I will ever get fully comfortable with these monstrosities. I love them in the privacy of my home and don't even think they project so much in clothes. THEN, I get out somewhere and go to the bathroom or catch myself in some other mirror from the side and I am just mortified. I hunch my shoulders or sport a jacket constantly. I hope I get used to them or I will have to have them smaller again. LOL I honestly am going insane here!!! I fully realize they are not that big but I liked being small chested just not being fully deflated. Apparently my PS does not see my vision of boobs because he has his own and it is not a B cup.

I did lose projection and I measure a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch smaller across each boob/1/2 in to 3/4 smaller around. But it is not enough!!! Forgive me. I am ranting here. Bad booby moment again.

Sorry to hear that you're having a bad booby moment. It really is a day to day thing isn't it? I hope tomorrow is better for you.

I was wondering about something though - you went from higher profiles, to moderate plus profiles, with a 3.6cm projection...you said you'd like to go even smaller down the road to the moderate profiles - in the 225ish range, with a 2.6cm projection. Do you think going down another whole cm in projection would be too much of a loss? Or do you think you can afford another whole cm loss? I'm asking because as you know, I want to go from 4.4cm projection to the 2.6cm myself - my concern is that it will be too much of a loss of projection. I'm all over the map lately.

Although I know I'd rather be on the smaller side of the fence given the choice.

I definitely feel I could afford to lose more projection though what you are saying is exactly why my PS did not want me to even change from high profile to mod plus. He worried about me losing too much fullness and being unhappy. I am not like most on this site and do not like the projection. I just wanted to have SOMETHING, not in any form of excess. My boobs look oustanding, if I do say so myself, naked. But I would still love to lose a bit more projection for the sake of my own comfort level. Let me put it this way--if the world were a world where we all walked around naked and checking out each others boobs on a daily basis, I would be very proud of what my PS gave me. However, it is not, LOL, and though I want them to look good naked, I am more about what they look like in clothing.

I have to back track again. Mine look good in clothes if that is the look a person is going for in clothes. I was not. I just wanted to lose the padded bra not grow boobs that are bigger than they ever wore when engorged with milk after pregnancy.

I took side pics for myself so I could compare them to my old 350 pics and the projection difference is so obvious. Why can't I just be happy!!!

It is all about who you are and what your original desire was. If you are going for a 34B/32c cup--shoot for the 2.6 cm projection, if you are going for a 34c/32d cup, shoot for the mod plus profile. I am still a 32d/34c just not as full or better said, overflowing. What size did you say you are now---what were your stats preBA and after---cup size, weight, height?

I wish you the best and just from what I have learned about you on this forum so far, I honestly think you will prefer the 2.6 projection and it will not be too much especially if you started with some breast tissue of your own. When did you say you see you PS?

give it time, maybe you will get used to them?

But IMO if you do go smaller maybe think about consulting with a different PS since this one can't seem to understand what you want. Get different opinions on what you should do to achieve your goal since you now have two examples of what you don't want.

Thanks...you are right in that I think I will be just fine with the 2.6cm. It will give me back what I had pre kids (small B) - all I wanted in the first place - and maybe a little bit more. That's all I want. In fact I'm even thinking of 200ccs, just to be safe.

Pre breast augmentation I was a deflated A cup (was a small perky B before pregnancy/breastfeeding), I'm between 5'6 and 5'7 (always get differing measurements), 125lbs, 30.5 ribcage, my BWs are 12.5 (right) and 13cm (left). The diameter of my current implants are 12cm and they seem to fit well on my chest in that respect. I have a great cleavage already and am thinking that even if I went with the 200cc mentor silicone moderates, I'd be Ok with their 11.7cm diameter. Although, the 12.2cm diameter of the 225s might be a safer bet. That is now my dilemma...200ccs or 225ccs?? Decisions, decisions.

I'm going on Monday at 12:45 to see my PS. I'm so excited. I wonder what he'll say about a lift.

Lennie, did you ever consider going for the smaller implant exchange, then waiting 6 months to see if you'd need a lift and then do it at that time? That is one of the options I keep hearing of...that it can take a few months for the skin to retract.

No, I did not consider waiting 6 months for a lift. I wanted them to look good NOW. Sorry, I went 6 months of hating them and I wanted a set I liked. THe lift was a must of me immediately and SO WORTH IT. If you need it, do not wait. 6 months drags when you are waiting.

Thanks Lennie. The thing is, how will we decide if I need a lift or not? Do they base it on what the breast looks like when they put the new one in? I didn't need a lift when I had my initial breast augmentation in early December. Technically I'm only going down 55 to 88 ccs/grams - but the projection difference will be 1.8 cms...diameter is the same. I keep reading that anything less than 100ccs I likely won't need a lift, but it's the difference in projection that concerns me.

I guess I'll find out tomorrow. Thanks for all of your help!

Gmedic went from 400 to 175 with no lift. I knew I needed a lift AFTER getting the first set of implants. Nothing major, just a minor uplift of the nipple. I think it just depends on you. Your PS should be able to tell you what you will need.

My Champion sports bra seems to do a good job of minimizing.
http://tinyurl.com/champion-sports-bra

Maidenform makes a super comfortable bra that to me makes my boobs look smaller than my other bras. It really is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. I think it makes them look less round and more narrow.
