Hi all, I am an active mom of 3. I love to trail run and I'm a swimmer. I breastfed all 3 of my creatures for a total of 2.5 years. I went from a cute and perky 34B up to a 36D, back down to a 34B, then up to a 36C. This happened at least 2X. I'm now at a 36A/B. I've got one going south and one going east. I'm a bit thicker in the ribcage, I think thanks to all the swimming I've done my whole life. So here are my stats: 5'7" 145ish, 33 inch rib cage. My ps initially recommended 500/550 hp overs (he thought this would get me a small D). I want to be a full D as I've read that this will make me look like a C. I have plenty of breast tissue. First, what do you think of the size? And will I be able to run long distances comfortably?? I've even toyed with a bit bigger 550/600- is this too big? Please help me!! Thanks. |

I would think you'd reach at least the D-DD range with that many cc's. As far as running, the Shock Absorber level 4 sportsbra is hideous, lol, but MAN does it hold the girls in place! Doesn't create the dreaded uniboob either. I've heard the Enell brand is good too. You may have to double up on the sportsbras, and it may take a while before you are healed enough to stand the impact, but I would think with some time you'd be doing your marathons again.

You will be fine to run as long as you wear a good high impact sportsbra.

I don't think you'll be too big to run, as long as you find a very good, supportive sports bra. I'm with Dare -- I wear the Shock Absorber and my boobs barely move. I really don't notice them when I run at all. I plan to do a half marathon sometime this coming year and the boobs are my least concern! LOL! I just hope I can make it. Slinky |

![]() | ![]() I'm a runner too and am interested in doing marathons. I don't want my boobs to slap me in the face nor end up really saggy. Thanks for the hideous bra link. I don't care what I look like at the gym anyway, so I don't care. Thanks!! /subscribe

Somebody else just recommended Enell Sports Bras: http://www.enell.com/order.html Dang! Those are heavy duty! They even have some hefty instructions for putting them on: Putting on your first ENELL: The ENELL feel: Your ENELL is going to feel completely different from any sports bra you have ever used. You've never had support like this before. Your first reaction may be that your ENELL is too small. It's probably not! Your ENELL should feel snug and still be comfortable. Putting the ENELL on: Put your ENELL on like a vest. Then start to "hook up" your ENELL from the BOTTOM and go up! "Tuck and hook" until you get to the top. Once you get your ENELL fastened, reach in and adjust your breasts in the bra by pulling them up and out toward the underarm so the bra lays flat under your breasts. The breasts should then be held firmly in the upper/fuller portion of the bra. Your nipples should rest just below the arch seam. Your ENELL should be snug but comfortable, you can feel the support. To check the fit: Twist your body as in doing waist exercises. If the bra moves more than slightly and does not stay in place, it may be too big for you. For a low impact/comfort fit the bra will feel looser and may move a little more.

I've heard that there are various sports bras that can be great with running! You can find the link if you search under "sports bra" in the "clothing" forum. Cheers! Jen |

I'm a former marathoner who just got 550cc HP partial unders. I plan to, no I AM going to run marathons with these lovely twins!! I already bought the enell sports bra for when I start running again in 3 1/2 weeks. I might try to get some shock absorber bras the girls have mentioned. I've also heard about wearing 2 sport bras from some. There's also the janestrap that helps to reduce bouncing upwards when running. I'm going to try it all. I'll let you know how it goes. I lost my chest from running so much. I deserve to be a long distance runner with beautiful breasts |

I think you will be fine with your height and weight, you will be pretty proportional and definitely NOT the most top heavy in the races you enter!
