I'm 20lbs heavier than you and 36B. The nurse at my ps office had 240cc with benilift and she looks absolutely perfect (and did right away) ....Did you have the same kind of luck?? How far out from your surgery are you ??....Thank you soo much in advance.

Yep, I have a yahoo site, it's listed in the photo's section, or just pm me and I'll send you the link... you're welcome to take a look

My PS said he prefered to do unders, but because of my fitness regime he said unders wouldn't be appropriate and recommended subfascials instead... apparently he's been doing them like that now for quite some time, but then when I checked him out, he's fairly recently trained, so maybe he learned the new technique when he trained? I guess sometimes a newer PS has it's advantages

Slightly off topic...

10 days??? Oh wow. 10?? that's, like, less than two weeks. That is, um, like 240 hours!!

((( I feel like we are expecting a baby!! Like I should say "are you having any contractions yet?" except we don't want to say that "c" word, do we?)))

Anyway, obviously I'm thrilled for you, my inspiration. I hope I'm as graceful as you when I "grow up"!!

Psssssssssshh. 3 months? No way, apparently! Doc today said probably 6 months...LOL...then when my jaw hit the ground, he backpedalled, saying "Sometimes 3! It is sometimes sooner than 6!!" But I start seeing his dad again on Monday, and I'm guessing he is old school...so at least 6 months for me.

Definitely a downer. Which sucked...I had just taken my 'sweet boobie' bra shopping!! There was a SALE at Dillard's and I tried on and bought some lovely bras! 36DD...hellllloooo!!! Even with just one boobie, i was in the dressing room saying out loud "WOW! This is Gorgeous!!" I couldn't believe what a nice large boobie does for a pretty bra!! I've always had to put the bra on, then position my boobie to fill it! Oh heck no...not anymore!! It was wonderful...........

But the reason I went was for "stuffing" ideas...so far, I have a nylon with the rice and a 'cup guard' that smoothes out the front (and I use the other to hide my only 'working' nipple!!). I may have to invest in something more substantial if it's going to be sooooo long (!!) until I have twins again.

I let the doc drag me down, I admit. But dang, if when I got home and modeled those bras for the hubby...instant mood stabilizer!

Oh, I am a mental health therapist. I work at an acute care psychiatric hospital on the Children and Adolescent units. I just have to stay in the background when someone gets violent, and my workmates are being very protective!

I can't wait until your giving me the thumbs up!!

hubby isn't totally on board but he's getting used to it(happy wife, happy life...right?)
Tammy,

I think you are an absolutely beautiful woman inside and out anyway. Whatever makes you happy. IMO, I don't think you loose a lot of size over time with unders, I think your muscle eventually stretches to accommodate the implant size. I think the compression is a temporary thing. Also no one can tell the difference in unders and overs when looking at pics - a lot of how implants look has to do with your anatomy.

I'm excited for you!

Terrie

Have you thought about asking your PS if he has any implant samples you can borrow (to use) until you can redo? It's worth a shot.

terrie you and your hubby sound great!!!! sooo optimistic !!! it truely is a downer if you have to wait 6 long months....i would be very surprised if this is the case....let's just get you as healthy as possible and show your ps you are ready ...

as far as stuffing is concerned...did you keep your implant? no? maybe you can get one from the ps...a used sterilized one....just and idea....i kept mine ....i wear 'em once in a while for fun...i wear 2 sports bras and put the implants in the middle ...no friction on my skin that way....i'd ask if you can have one...i'm sure they will empathize with you

thank you ivy...you are too kind....i totally agree with you about the compression long term ...it is the short term that excites me with the overs....and i also agree that it is very very difficult to tell in before and afters who has unders or overs...thanks again xoxo
