Will my implants get smaller after D&F?

I looked at my 2 day post op boobies, and they look just a bit larger than what I had hoped for. My PS over filled 425 implant to 450cc's. I am looking at them and I swear I am hoping that they are still swollen and I really hope that the size will go down once they have dropped and fluffed! I was totally not going for that Pam Anderson look. Please tell me that your size went down!!!

We are similar in stats and I have 450cc, I found that they got alot larger as the muscles relaxed, don't panic yet you may be surprised at how fast you get used to them, good luck with your recovery.

I really think it depends ont he person I have heard some does get smaller and then some people say they get bigger. Just remember you are still swollen and that could take up to two weeks for it to go down. So hang in there and time will tell. HTH

Your boobs will probably look smaller when the swelling goes down, and then a tad bit fuller when they drop and fluff. The good thing is that they won't feel as big because they won't be so high then. HTH

Unhappy well now i'm scared... may have to get redone

Mine are 8 days post-op, and I TOLD him, quite repeatedly, that I would much rather wake up with smaller than larger than what I thought. If they're small- you can wear a bra to make them look bigger, if they're too big, you're pretty much screwed. I said "nothing over 350- for sure" I'm a very skinny girl, I have very small hips and basically a dancer's body. I got what I thought was going to be a subtle, natural lift from a smallish implant to get me back to the shape and size (I said that I'd be an A or B, I don't care, I just want my shape back, because I had fluctuated in my weight so much that I looked like i'd had 4 kids or something- could hold a blush brush under my saggers!) that I was before the weight changes. And I'm scared to even eat now because I know i'll gain weight and that's the first place I gain it. I haven't eaten ANYthing in days. I'm miserable. I look like a stripper. They look nice, he didn't do a bad job, but I told him i didn't want ANY bigger than 350- WHY wouldn't he listen to me? and I have all this fake-looking cleavage up top and that's not natural. it seems like more of the implant is above my nipple than under!??! What?! It was so painful, but I can't go thru life looking like this. I can't keep not eating. I'm having to hide in big shirts just like before, except now because I look like boobs on skinny legs. I feel like the only reason people are looking at me is because of my chest. I just don't understand: if the patient is worried about being too big, why would you go over what they said?? why? I can't stop crying- everytime I look at myself or do the massages, I start bawling. I am right now. It was so painful (I'm resistant to pain meds), and I don't want to ever have to go thru that pain again, but I can't go thru life looking like this. I just want to go back in time and shake him in the consult and say "don't u dare put anything larger than 350 in me" cause I guess repeating it over and over kindly wasn't enough. Do you know how hard it is to wear baggy clothing in the Texas summer? I can't live like this. :'(

Steel rose. Don't worry ur only 8 days in, they are still swollen and should shrink some. Definitely understand your concerns. I specifically told my ps that I didn't want to look like a stripper. I'm a teacher and mother and wanted something fuller but subtle. I freaked out the first few days especially when i went to victoria's secret and was sized as a 36d. But Ive read several threads and have decided to hold off my meltdown until after 2months to give the new girls time to settle in and get comfy. GL

Ok, you really are sooooo new. I had my BA on June 17, so just 2 days before you. From reading all the posts on here, it can take weeks, and even months, to see your final result. You are definitely still high and hard. 8 days is nothing in the life of dropping and fluffing. I got 304s, under, mod+ profile. I think they're just the right size now, but boy, it takes getting used to seeing boobs on me.

I am sure once you D&F you will look much much better and more natural. The "frankenboob" or "spongeboob" look is so common, and it is very difficult to hide the strange, hard, high boobs. Recovery takes time, just know that. I wish we could all wake up from surgery with perfectly placed boobs, but unfortunately that's not how it works (at least in 99% of us). Our bodies have to adjust to the trauma of surgery. I will almost promise you that you will NOT look the way you do in a few weeks. Big hugs.

You cannot judge your new boobs size wise until at least 3mths.Many ladies think that their boobs straight out of surgery is what they will end up being which is totally untrue. It takes at least 3-6 mths for implants to settle.Mine took 6 mths to reach a consistent shape, size and position and just recently they have suddenly filled out a little more.I have progression pice and the difference at 3mths,4mths,5mths,6mths and 7mths is amazing.Don't worry so early po it isn't worth it,give it some time.

Reading your post made me wanna cry! I hope that the other JBI girls made you feel better. I have not had my BA yet however I have read many posts and I think what you are experiencing is natural and you have to wait for more time with the d & f process.

Hey Sweetie... I cannot offer facts about what will happen, as your body and implants are going to look differently than anyone else's. But... I can offer support. Like the other posts, you are very very very early. Your body went through a lot of trauma and is trying to adjust and figure out what to do. Please be patient with your body and try and hold off on hating them until they are done doing what they gotta do. The great thing you should remember is that it is not permanent, you can have them redone if you want, always keep that in mind. But for now, do not judge them so harshly!! They are not the final product. As to your PS, did he/she offer a reason for doing what he/she did, was there something unexpected in the surgery that would lead the PS to make a quick decision change? Hopefully hearing answers will help you and not leave you feeling so betrayed and in the dark. hang in there, we're all rooting for you!

This is what I am hoping! The swelling has gone down and now my breasts look quite a bit smaller. I don't mind the size but I hope I still have to drop and fluff and they get fuller and rounder

I'm 5'4,120-123 going for 421, nurse thinks I should get 457...after reading your post I may just stick to the 421. I just want more fullness.

My 1st BA I got 339cc, and they looked much fuller in the begining months. However after all the swelling went down they look sooo much smaller. Wearing a loose 36C now. After they D&F, the shape was beautiful but size too small.
