Petite gal, need cc/size help please!

breast augmentation next Wed the 7th! Feeling uneasy and need advice please...
My stats are 5'0, 95lbs, rc 27, small 32B, 23in waist, 34in hip, in shape, narrow shoulders, width of my breast is 11in. In consult I said I wanted to look natural and proportionate. In post-op I said I wanted a C, to be natural but noticeable, so doc set me up for HP textured silicone overs (b/c my muscle is strong & would eventually push the implant outward if it was under?) 350cc for C, 400cc if I wanted to go into the D range but it might be too much since my breasts sit a bit high on my chest. The nurse ordered both sizes & said to tell him day of to use a sizer and his discretion, he won't make me look freakish. Also the HP worries me b/c I want some cleavage and fullness, but I am petite. I've been hearing when in doubt go the bigger but I don't want to look fake. Help! Thanks!

given your stats and seeing as you're going to have overs, i think you're better off with 350cc.

i'm small too. short as you and with tiny waist and non existent hips. i have 360cc overs and i feel that any larger would give me an ice cream cone look. you could also look into the possibility of high profile rather than mods since your ribcage is smaller than mine. i went for mods because although i'm small everywhere, my ribs and shoulders are wide.

Welcome to the forum! I'm 5' 113lbs. and very petite too. My PS went with mod pluses because it is kind of a mixture of HP and mods. I have a bigger rib cage than you though. (Mine is 29".) I got 275cc's overfilled to 335cc's and ended up being a 34D. My PS was going to use 300cc implants but the day of the surgery decided that they would be to overpowering for me. I'm glad he made the decision because they look very natural! (Oh, I have unders.) I don't know if this helps at all or just makes things more confusing! I guess the best thing to do is listen to you PS...that's what we pay them the big bucks for! Julie

Hi Sweetie. Check out our stats, we are pretty close to each other. I am 3 inches taller and 5 lbs heavier, but ,my waist is the same and my hips are narrower. I started out a VERY SMALL A and got 350 cc Moderate Plus Smooth Silicones placed completely under the muscle. Due to the under muscle placement i lost about 15% volume, putting me around 298cc. It has been a few days since my surgery, and so far so good. They do not look too big at all, and they are still swollen. I remember thinking when I woke up from surgery that they were not big enough, even though I really wanted a B. Dont let boobie greed get the best of you. And remember, for some reason implants look smaller then real boobs.

Id like to say i got HP overs, and the bulkiness at the top does go...i think now you wouldnt notice braless that i had hps, but i still have the fullness on top, just not as noticeable...go 350 ! you wont regret it !

Whether you get cleavage depends more on your ribcage shape (tilted slightly in or out) and sternum width than on the profile of the implant. Your PS will probably give you implants that are the same width, regardless of what profile you choose -- a width that is just slightly narrower than your breast width diameter (somewhere between 11 and 15 cm). So the distance between your implants will be the same regardless of profile. To get more ccs for a given implant width, you need the higher profile implant.

Hi! we have similar stats... i had overs aswell you can see what size implants i had in my sig... i'm now a 32DD!! they don't look really huge on me even though i have such narrow shoulders and am tiny! I think 400cc's would be too much for you especially as your having overs and high profile...

I have the same stats as you, in fact my ribcage in about 1/2 inche smaller than yours (im a skinny little one). anyays I went with 360 cc's but i had partial unders which brought me to a full C. If you dont mind being in the full C/Small D range i say go with the 350...if your looking more for the Full D or more range than go for the 400. Also, although at some consultations Mentor HP's were recommended for me, I decided to go with inamed Mods because i wanted more cleavage. what i liked about the inamed mods were that they had different dimensions than mentor mods...they were smaller in width and had more projectile, but not as much as hp's

Did anyone regret the size, that they got too big?
Ok, so rice bra confessions! I put a 350 on one side and 400 in the other and a 32C bra, and tried on a bunch of different t-shirts, blouses, tanks, camis... On some the 350 look like B's, not much bigger than my current padded VS bras. And on some the 400's make me look top heavy. I think boobie greed is setting in... I don't want to regret not going big enough, however I don't want to look like a barbie doll. I've heard many say you can dress them up or down however you want to look. I guess I'm going for the full C/small D size but can't decide which cc is going to give me that... The girl that finalized my consult recommended 325cc for me, then with the doc we sid 350 would be good, then after discussion with the pre-op nurse she said 50cc is really not that much and that's when she ordered both 350 & 400 and have the doc size it for his discretion and tell him I want big but not ridiculous. T minus 3 days!
P.S. Did I tell you ladies how awesome you are with this forum?

Sparkleb, the same thing happened at my pre-op. I tried on the sizers with the nurse, and I felt most comfortable with the 375ccs so together we thought I should go with 400 or 425 ccs to account for going w/ full unders, as she said that 25 more ccs is equivalent to like a shotglass of liquid (barely noticeable). Then the PS came in, did a few more measurements, and said I should go bigger if I felt comfortable with it. Then we looked at what was available in the different profiles to match my breast diameter, and that's how we decided on 427 and 450.

So it sounds way bigger than I originally planned even with the sizers, but I'm hoping that's what will actually give me the LOOK closer to the 375. He ordered the smaller sizes just in case I change my mind too, but I think I'm going to stick with the bigger size because boobie greed seems very real

*big sigh of relief* I'm not the only one who's been given free choice and doesn't know what to do with it! Esp last minute, my goodness! With all my research on before & afters and talking with y'all, I think I'm going to go in there ask him to put a sizer in and if I can take 400 comfortably to go for it. But who knows I'll probably change my mind again LOL
I've been looking on breastimplants 411 and its been a great help cuz you can see A to C or A to D and how many cc's they used.

It's hard to give up control over such an important decision, but I felt best taking the advice of my PS...after all, this is what he does every day and he probably has the best eye for it! Let us know what you end up with and how you like 'em...my breast augmentation is a few days after yours.

i think most have difficulty with size....i was given the option of going between 300-390 and i chose 360...i think i struggled with that decision up until the day of my surgery...lol

breast augmentation was yesterday and im no so whoopee about it. He gave me 375's and im happy about the size, but not the shape... i look like madonna back in the day! It is just the swelling that is making them pointy? I wasnt natually pointy but my nips are a little on the bigger side. *disappointed"

In you situation I would prob go 350, but thats just me. I got 325 and im 5'3" 125lbs and my implants look v. natural but perrrrrrkkkkyyyyy and beautiful on me. If youre interested, I have a yahoo group you can check out...

Well I posted my disappointment on 2/8, however it is now 2/15 a week late and they are not so puffy, they don't look like big water balloons anymore LOL I think the skin has relaxed a bit. I'm EXTREMELY ecstatic with the results. Everyone tells me they look so natural and not fake like some others they've seen and fit my body perfectly, and they haven't even "dropped" yet. I'm even am getting some more cleavage already! Feeling much better...

For comparison, I'm about the same size (5'1" 95 lbs 26" RC) and 425cc (saline, overs) got me to a 32DD. Good luck with your decision!

Then the PS came in, did a few more measurements, and said I should go bigger if I felt comfortable with it. Then we looked at what was available in the different profiles to match my breast diameter, and that's how we decided on 427 and 450.
