![]() ![]() | Will I freak out and think I've gone too big?
This will sound silly to those of you with 450 implants, but I'm conservative in general. I posted before about my ps wanting to use either 330 or 360 (mod profile) and no larger - so I'm assuming that means they could be filled 360-390. I'm going from a very small 34B - is there any chance I'm going to regret this? Trying on the sizers at the consult I didn't want any smaller than the 325, but has anyone ever been freaked out right after the surgery that they were so BIG? It seems there are people on this forum who sound similar in size to me who were happy with 300. I would love to be a full C cup, and I'm 5'7" and 119 with a 30" ribcage, so a 34C would not be ridiculous - but will the difference between that and what I have now make me feel like I wasn't conservative enough? What can I expect? Basically - will I freak out? Has anyone else? Thanks for your feedback! |

Rachael -thank you so much for those pictures! I hadn't seen any immediately post-op, and I would've completely freaked out at what they looked like after my surgery! They're so high, and so swollen, and so ... WRONG. I'm so glad I saw those - so so so so glad. You looked GREAT in your dress by New Year's (love the 007 for 2007!) Do you have any newer unclothed ones so I can see how they continued to drop and fluff? Thanks for posting those. |

Yeah, you may freak out at first. God knows I did! Sobbing in the bath "what have I DONE to myself" But that was only because the change seemed so big, if you'll excuse the pun!!! I was technically a 30A, though I could never find any, so I wore a 32A. Now I'm a 30DD, and it looks completely proportional to my body. Oh, I had 300L/360R last March. So, you just may freak out, 'cause it's really weird to look down and see boobs, after a lifetime of not having much. But you will get used to them, and you will love them!Cynthia |

If you are getting overs then they won't look like mine post-op. Even though they look totally wierd post-op they look fine in clothes so don't stress about that...but it is important that you give prior warning to bf/dh etc etc.. or anyone else planning on seeing your boobs post-op so they don't freak out. I thoroughly prepared my bf with what to expect so he didnt freak out afterwards. Compared to most girls here i stayed higher for longer apparently due to having tight pecs from weight training. So you may not take as long as me drop. | |

I was just like you before I had my surgery with the worrying about size. I am not as small framed and weight size as everyone else but I still worried. I am 12 days out and have shrunk alot. You shouldn't freak right after because you will be SO swollen. I looked huge. I started with a full 36B but very saggy. (after 2 kids) I thought I was gonna have to have a classic maxtoplexy lift but got lucky. I got 450 ccs under the muscle and high profile. They still seem a bit bigger than I really wanted but in the end I think they are going to be great. Everyone tells me they still have shrinking to do and not to even think about bra sizes yet. My sister in law is 5' 7" and about the same size as you. She got 325ccs, moderate profile and went back to add 50 more. She wears a 34 D in some bras and a C in others. She looks great. They look natural and not too big. Go for it. You will be happy in the end. Good luck.

OMG When I woke up from anesthesia the first thing i did was llift the sheets and look down! I remember seeing these HUGE mountains on my chest, I just looked at my ps and said They are so BIG! and immediatelly fell asleep. When he came by next day to check me up he explained he had illed to 400cc (we had discused 330cc) because when he sat me up in the table they looked great that size. At first I thought they where too big , but as time goes by, they look better and better, since the swelling has started to go down. And now I'm actually glad he went with the 400cc, otherwise, I would be a victim of the green Boobie Greed monster. So, IMHO, trust your ps. He does this every day.

I freaked out after surgery, also, my doctor had put in 450 instead of the 350-400 I thought I was getting. I spent a few days going "Dang they're big" not knowing whether I liked them or not. By week 3 I was thinking they could be a wee bit bigger!

Do you have other pics? From your avatar and signature it doesn't look like you have that "oranges" look. You weigh a little more than I do and it seems that necessitates larger implants, so I'm wondering if a 450 on you would be like a 360 on me? Is the bra you have on padded or unlined, pushup or not, etc? All those things make a difference... I have a 30 in ribcage, if that helps at all. Last edited by Admin; 05-24-2008 at 04:14 PM. |

I am just like you in regard to size. I went to my consult wanting 275 or 300 max. PS put 325 sizers on me and said I would look good with 350 too. So I said, okay, during surgery, use your professional opinion. Well, I completely wigged out when I found out I got 375cc put in me. Really, they looked huge. But the swelling has gone down so much. The pic in my avatar was from when I was still pretty swollen. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE them now. I still nearly pass out when I try on shirts and have to say "damn, they look too big in this" (never had that problem before, lol). But just like we had to learn to shop for small boobs, now we have to learn to shop for bigger boobs. You WILL freak out the first week or two, but once the swelling goes down, you will love them!! Don't stress too much over it, k?
