Question on high profile fill

I am considering changing my silicone out for saline implants The surgeon suggested 500 cc mentor hp filled to around what I am now 600cc range. I was concerned that it would be to firm. I could also go with the 560 size but I think that I would have to be more than 600cc to not have ripples. If anyone could give any information on this I would greatly appreciate it. I have never had saline high profile only silcon.

Wellll. I have 400 HP's filled to 430ccs. I thought they would end up firm, but they are really very soft and squishy.

OMG! I thought I was the only "odd ball " who is switching out her silicone for saline!!!!! I want the firmness that you can get from overfilling salines. Im having my redo on August 17th, haven't decided on cc amount yet. I have 475cc hp silicone now, gonna switch to saline and going for the mid to upper 600cc range. Good luck to you, im nervous about the ripple thing also.

Tropixgirl, Do you have any idea on what size implant you will get? I haven't decided on the size of implant at this time, but I want to be around 600 cc. Don't really want to be any larger that that. Just undecided on overfilling one implant or going the next size up. I have to wait a little longer for my surgery. I will probably have it done in a few months. Keep me updated. And btw I don't think were crazy. Sometimes silicon just doesn't work for everyone.

Ladynow81, I have been advised that for my problems with bottoming out and just the fact that silicon can't be adjusted when you have more than just a few issues, that It might be a better choice for me. I do have ripples with my high profile silicone. They do feel softer though, but very firm when I lay on my chest. So for me I guess it's acceptable to change if it will improve the complications or make it easier to fix. I was told that both my breast look drastically different.

Well Imnew to most of all this but my doc did 465 hp implant size and filled to 500cc..I thought it would be to big being between a & b cup but..I love them. I kind of wish they were bigger though and Im only 6 wks out but they arent to firm at all and there is no rippling...Also I think your surgeon has alot to do with your results...Hope this helps

I'm worried now. I am getting a redo next month to go from salines to silicone (250 mods to 700 hps). I like my salines now, but decided to go with silicone because I was concerned that such a large implant would feel too firm.

I cannot imagine spending the extra $1k for silicone, just to find out I don't like them. Would love to hear more about why some of you are switching from sili to saline!

1hipchick, Don't worry about getting silicon. I am only changing because my surgeon thinks I would have better results with being able to adjust them. Some get ripples with saline and some don't. Same with silicon. I don't have visible ripples with silicon and I think that is a plus, I can feel ripples only on the sides due to my implants being to wide. I am sure you will love your silicon. I know that for me the only thing I don't like is that my breast are always cold to the touch. And when I get hot they sweat. I never had any issues with them other than that.
