Ok girls I need some support.
I did the rice test last night. I put one and 3/4 cup rice underneath a sports bra, I felt like they were too big!!!
I am 5'7'' and weigh 140lbs hoping to lose at least 5 before surgery. My ribcage is 31". I wear a 34 a or b depending on the bra.
I am scheduled for underneath the muscle and he said around 400cc maybe a little less.
Why am I getting cold feet. I want to fill my clothes out but I guess I am so used to seeing nothing I almost feel like it makes me look fat...
My husband obviously thinks it looks great and my 2 1/2 year old twin son noticed them and said "squishy"- his twin sister didn't even notice...
Any advice would be appreciated. I am scheduled for April 9th.

Its such a hard thing to judge all this...if you trust and like your ps, i would take his advice..you will get used to them very quickly, very few women think afterwards they went to too big...you have the height to carry them off, plus the width in ribcage

You are going to be totally stressed about the whole size issue until the surgery, everyone is I think. You really need explain to your ps exactly what you are looking for and then trust your ps. Even take in pictures of what you are interested in. I told mine that I wanted to go as big as I can and still look natural. He recommended 300cc and that is what I got. I was stressed until after surgery, but now realize what a waste of time that was!! I love my new boobs!!

I went thru the same thing!! I ended up doing the rice test with what i think was exactly the conversion of the cc amout I ended up getting and WHOA!! I thought they were huge! After everything I can fit in the bra i did the rice test with and it looks just as big, but it doesnt FEEL like it did before. They feel much smaller once they are inside your body and your swelling has gone down. I actually with I had gone bigger, and I'm finding that is more common afterwards. I went under the muscle with 360 cc and am a baby D. Trust me the rice test will make you feel like they are gigantic.....but once your used to them they really dont look that big at all! Trust me, more women with they had gone bigger then smaller. Good luck and keep us all posted!

The rice boobs aren't 100% accurate because they simply aren't going to be shaped like your implants ultimately will be. Also, there is the shock effect. I started off as an A also and the first time I tried the rice test it was a modest amount and I thought holy cow, these look huuuge and I felt very top heavy. I gave it some time and starting doing my homework, checking here and looking at before/afters. I tried the rice boobs again and added more rice...got used to that size. Ultimately, you can see that my PS recommended 421/457 cc's, much more than I originally anticipated. I decided I'd rather err on the side of going too big rather than spending all that money and still look small...plus my PS has been doing this for years. Remember, if you go with unders that's going to make them appear smaller once implanted.

It all depends on what you would like to look like maybe you should take some pictures to you ps and see what he tells you . I personally think 400cc is a good amount for you since they are unders . Good luck on your decision.

Before my surgery I was so stressed about size, in the end I went 410s and was just terrified of being too big! When I first put on the rice bags I felt ridiculous. But going from having nothing, anything looks huge! I am now soooo happy I went with the larger size; although I'm only a few days post op I definatley think I could have even gone a little bigger!

I'm pretty close to your stats. I'm going with overs, so that means my rice boobies are closer to what the implants will look like. My understanding is that under the muscle causes about a 15% loss in the look. My PS originally suggested 300ccs because I told him I wanted a full C. After reading this forum, I learned of "boobie greed"

and at my sizing decided to go with 350ccs to attempt to avoid this phenomenon!

Funny your twin son noticed! I have boy/girl twins also - although they are 17! NEITHER have noticed my rice bobbies, and I have worn them a number of times!!! LOL!

I did the rice test too and thought I wanted 350-375, but my PS doesn't talk CCs or Bra Size, he goes by look....

I ended up with 325 and I feel great about the size of them. Obviously I am only 2 days out and still have dropping and fluffing to do, but the way they look now squished under the muscle, when they do fill out...I am going to be exactly where I wanted with smaller implants.

Just my 2 cents.

You should talk with your PS and show him pics of what you think you'd like to look like and what you know you don't want to look like and go from there. The same CCs will look different on 2 different women.

Good luck to you, this was my biggest concern until I had my sit down chat with my PS.

I drove my PS and nurse asst crazy stressing over my size, I didn't want too big, just please not too big. Those things looked huge on me! WEll guess what, I even went up a few cc's and STILL wish I had gone bigger. I really may have them re-done after 6 months. Trying to be patient but I dont think they are going to grow. So my advise, go bigger, they are MUCH smaller in.

Looks like we have the same stats except I was NEVER a size B except when breastfeeding so you are starting with more breast tissue. I did the rice test with 350's and thought they looked big. Ended up with 425/435, saline unders. As of week 3 (tomorrow) I think the rice boobs were bigger with more projection. I'll go try on the sport bra I used for the rice boobs (if I can pull it on over my head - I might have to wait til hubby gets home) and let you know for sure...

Wish I had before BA with rice boobs pics too!!!

I WAS able to get the sports bra on and they look about the same as my rice boobs. So I agree with Victory's statement:

85% of 425 is 361. The rice boobs I did were approx. 350 cc's.

My new "real" boobs are a lot more comfortable and less heavy than rice boobs FYI.

I had the same issue, I wanted to look nice, not to big, not to small, yaadayaada!! I think I drove myself crazy trying to figure out what size would fit best with my body, lifestyle, ect... In the end I went with 400's and I am very happy. I had nothing to begin with and have a very thin frame, I'm 5'11 and about 125 pounds and they do not look to big at all!!! ps my dh has confirmed that the 350ish rice boobs in a sport bra look the same as my new boobs (425/435 under the muscle) in the same sport bra. Hope that helps.

I also felt like the rice boobs made me look fatter than my REAL boobs do now.

My PS won't talk CC's or bra size either. I went ahead and did the rice test anyway just to see, but I think they were much too big. My PS said he would only put in what fits.
