High Profiles???
I'd like to get some opinions on HP implants. Anyone who has them or knows someone with them....Do you like them? What's the biggest difference from moderate profile. Any difficulties with them?
Thanks... Janice |

I have HPs...i think the difference is the HPs are narrower but give more projection, and the mods are wider with less projection...its all down to individual body shapes and breast width diameter to what type you have...i had lost all the volume on top over the years, but had some tissue left under the nipple, so the HPs gave me that back, mods wouldve been too wide for my frame, but with the HPs you dont end up with bulging upper pole fullness, they do slope as the weeks go by, and blend in with the new boob, so they will look natural...see what your ps suggests, as i say, we are all built differently, so one implant would look totally different on the next patient

I'm 5 days post op and I have HPs. My PS prefers the Mod Plus or HPs as the Moderates have such a low profile. While my breast are full they have a natural look as opposed to the implant marking seen in many early post op photos. At the same time, it's still quite early. I believe that I will be quite pleased once they drop.

On the main page here, there are pictures of actual implants in different profiles that easily convey what we are talking here about projection versus width. Your PS will probably have a preference based on your measurements, a lot depends on your unique anatomy.

I completely agree with anne, I was really skeptical about them up until the day of... but mine turned out great and I couldn't imagine having anything wider OMG. Trust your ps, they know what they're doing.
