Trying on testers
This is a bit of a stange question...
I have read how people try on the rice test and the testers at the PS and they say to do it with a sports bra. Now I don't have a sports bra (can't fit into one!) and don't even have a normal bra that could possibly hold the testers. Did people go and buy a bra that they thought would be the size they wanted to be?? Sorry stupid question I know, but if I don't ask I won't know...Jen |

PS
My PS had a tester bra by band size and I was able to play with actual saline and silicone implants--putting different sizes in, then putting a shirt back on to get the idea of how they would look. My husband got a kick out of this and I also got to feel both types of implants. Don't forget also that trying on sizes changes depending on overs & unders. 15% or so less look with unders.

I did buy a bra
I went out and bought my first ever 34 C bra. It does not have underwires and is very stretchy. I figured I could wear it post BA too.
I used for my rice test and I also took I on my PS consultation. I was so strange buying a C cup. I've never bought anything beyond an A. Heck, I don't even fit into those unless they're padded to the max. Linda |

Hey no question is stupid on here...... Just like Victoria, my PS had sizers and different bras to put them in and then they had some really tight tanks to put on over, just to see what they would look like.

My PS had everything I needed to try them on. But then I took in to account that I was going under the muscle and they would actually look a little smaller. But Im sure if they wanted you to bring stuff, such as if they didnt have a bra, they would tell you a head of time and tell you what kind you needed!!

My PS suggests wearing a beige sports bra to try on the sizers. Black makes them look smaller and white has the 'whoa' effect so take this into account when trying them on.
He likes using a sports bra because it kinda squashes them to your chest like they would be with unders. When i mean sports bra -i don't mean one of those fancy bras they get people to wear to the gym to stop your boobs bouncing but just one of those regular crop top style ones that you can buy from like Kmart, Big W or the Red Circle Boutique (Target); they fit every flat chested girl in the world. Welcome to the wonderful confusing world of cc's! I just asked the PS for the largest size i could get and that made life easier!! Rachael |

My ps had a bra to use that had a pocket for the sizers. I also wore a stretchy long sleeved sweater to see the before and after.

My PS had a surgical bra in different band sizes and suggested that I bring in different style tops to wear over to it to see how they vary in sweaters, tight tops, etc.
As for the rice test, I used a sports bra I already had. I imagine it'd be a lot cheaper to just purchase an inexpensive sports bra rather than a new bra that might not even fit after you get the implants. If you're in the U.S., I'd go to Target, Ross, TJ Maxx, etc.

I did the rice test..unsatisfied with the results of my rice test, I purchased a Bra (34C). I filled the bra with my Rice Patties; and, with that I was able to determine that I definitely wanted to be a full C. I had a better visual when I stuffed the "new" bra with the Rice Patties, than when I conducted the test with a sports bra..However, regardless of the 2 months spent walking around my house with my Rice Patties in place; it didn't come close to what the real thing looks like - the projection, shape and size were all different. - It was still fun trying them out!

Yeah they do, but real boobies don't so don't worry you won't be toppling over afterwards!

I was a bit worried about getting a sore back. So they're not as heavy as breast tissue? My back is used to teeny weeny boobs!

Your implants are going to feel heavy at first…At least mine did! Then as time went by they didn’t feel as heavy; now, they have become a part of my body and me – I forget they’re there sometimes (the implants of course) Good luck on you BA! |
