I think that is way too much for a breast augmentation only. You paid almost double from myself and other girls here on JBI. They really Look GREAT! Congrats

13,400 what - AUD? I paid ~11,000 AUD...at first it hurt very much but now (almost 2 months later) luckily the memory is slowly fading away..

If you get GA looks as though between $10,000 - $14,000 is what it costs babe, but really can u put a price on boobie happiness hehe?? I got another quote for $7,200 but i wasnt happy with the doctor so i went with the more expensive one, and loveeeeeee my result!

As long as your happy babe thats all that matters!

I wouldn't feel bad or get buyer's remorse in any way. Your results are great, so well worth it. So you paid on the high end...... I don't think breast augmentation's should be part of bargain shopping.

Put it behind you, and enjoy them!

I paid $12,500 plus prescription costs. But I stayed overnight in a private hospital, which always adds to the cost.

Obviously we are talking about AUS dollars here! Mine would have cost @12000..but I got rebates from Medicare and one implant was paid for by medicare.. I think in Perth WA it seems most people spend between $11000- $14000. I think your price is pretty standard to the other surgeons..My friend and I had the same surgeon, but he used different anaesatist (sp)? and mine was $1800, and hers was $1200....so it all depends! What hospital did you go too? and also did you stay overnight? i went to cambridge day surgery and stayed overnight..

^ I'm getting a bargain for my re-do (with a different PS) because he's very kindly saying the first job was botched (it wasn't, really) and he must explant. So for the price of the explant, theatre costs and anesthetist I can claim back on Medicare! Whoo Hoo! I'm only paying basic fees for his time and expertise and for the implants, oh, and the $250 excess fee with my Private Healthcare provider for the Private Hospital Stay. Bloody MBF.

I'm THRILLED with my new PS! But not so thrilled that my first breast augmentation was not perfect.

Yeah this WAS the case! I tried as I had my first breast augmentation in April this year, and they took this out of this years tax 08/09...by hubby had laser the year before and we claimed that..We went to a new accountant, and he said right if you have had a boob job or any other cosmetic surgery unfortunately you cannot claim on that anymore! ( i didnt tell him my boobs were new!)..and the year before my accountant (a female) said jokingly if you are thinking of getting new boobs and claiming them, well you have just missed out!
