Trying to decide between 270 & 300...

So of course I'm second guessing my choice of 270, because I started with wanting only 240... but I see such drastic differences in results!

I've been obsessing over this forum like crazy for the past two weeks - my surgery is on November 24th, and we just decided yesterday that I would go to 270 instead of 240 - so I'm always looking to see what everyone else's results were with the same volume.

I realize existing breast tissue, rib cage and a multitude of other factors make a difference, but I notice similar builds getting EXTREMELY different results! I want a FULL B, possibly baby C, but no more because I'm an avid exerciser. At first I thought 240 was huge, partly because right now I have little to nothing from lifting weights, but also because I was afraid of others' judging me... but after seeing others with 240 (and getting nothing but positive support since telling everyone) I decided I wanted to be a bit fuller - why not if I'm paying $$$ for 'em!?

My rib cage measures at 30", but I wear a 32" band, A cup, although I could probably fit a AA I'm 5'5" and weigh 130 - but a very muscular small frame.

I'm beginning to wonder if I wouldn't be better served with 300cc instead of 270cc - but I don't want to be too big either!

Any advice from those of you that had to make a similar decision? Is it even that much of a difference between the two?

I've got to get some pics posted and work on my profile so I can start making friends on here! I need advice!!!! Not to mention support during recovery!!!

Hi there!! isn't so hard to choose... I am the same weight / height as you but I had alot more tissue I was a very deflated C... I went too BIG... I am also an advid gym mouse and all I can say is that my arms hit the sides of my boobs with bicep curls and I HATE it... long and short I am going smaller with a full lift in Jan...
My good GF got 360cc with a starting point of an athletic A cup she is a VERY full C so I would say your choice of 300 is right on for a small C ... I hope that helps

Hi, I am very close to your stats body-size wise (except I am not so muscular ), but I started with a full B. My PS recommended me choose between 270 or 300cc to get a full C or small D. I liked the way the 240cc sizers looked, but from reading here I knew you lose some size once implanted, so I went with 270cc. Somehow I ended up a large D/small DD but they don't look that big. I am happy for the most part but I would like to have more fullness. I am the opposite of most girls here, I think they look pretty large in clothes, idk if I would want them any bigger, but naked they look like mid-C.

Either will look good and I understand not wanting to be too big, I didn't either. I think if i were you I would go with 300cc, since you don't have a super tiny frame and are starting with just AA, but it is up to you, either will look great. Sometimes I wish I had gotten like 450cc and sometimes I feel like my 270s look too big, just depending on my mood. It is not a huge difference, you would probably be a small C with either, the 300cc will just make you fuller. It is amazing how quickly you get used to having them, the 270cc sizers seemed huge and now they look normal to me.

Well, I don't remember my measurements. But I am very thin and model-looking. 6' tall and about 135 lbs. I was barely an A. Afte rmy first consult, I wanted 270 silicone. My second consult, the doc recommended 300cc. I thought it was way too big. Mythird consult, the doc rec. 300-325, and I'd still look natural. I decided on 300cc. But then,, the day before surgery(I had surgery yest.!) I started wishing I had gone maybe 350. Just so happened that my doc told me he dind't have 33 exactl, he had 286, 304 and 339. I gave him permission to do whatever looks best. I ende dup with the 339cc. LOVE THEM!!! And actually, I could have gon ea little bigger, even. But I am very happy. I'm a professional woman and dress very conservatively for work.

They aren't as huge as you think, especially under normal clothes. Bathing suits, fitted tshirts, yes, definitely noticeable. But in a blousy top or button down that I wear to work, no one will know. Did I already say I LOVE THEM!! I really never thought I'd be this ecstatic about them.

I had my surgery 2 weeks ago. I am an avid exerciser and runner. Before breast augmentation I was a small B...was supposed to go to full C. Doc gave me 375s and filled to 400. They are AWESOME!! Thought they were too big at first, but swelling went down and they're great. I think you will regret if you go too small.

I was also concerned about what people would think. With normal clothes on, not very noticeable. And then you get used to them.

Hello...I have a smaller frame than you but wore a 32A with a very narrow breast width (11cm) and I just got 286's. My pics are public. In a bathing suit or without clothes you can obviously tell I am bigger but no one at my office has noticed anything different (which is what i wanted) and I'm very happy with my size so far.

Keep in mind the more muscular you are, usually the more time it takes for the implants to drop and adjust in your body and for them to look natural. However, seeing your stats I would definitely say the 300's will get you what you're looking for..I wouldnt' go much bigger since you do like to exercise often. Also...be prepared for no upper body workouts for awhile. I'd stop any weightligting now to let your muscle relax a little before surgery (if your PS hasn't already told you to do so).

My ps originally suggested 275 but we wound up going with 300cc. I'm now a nice C. I too am athletic and the new girls haven't affected my game in any way. Feel free to send a FR if you'd like to see my progress. The pics need updating, but there are pics up to the five month mark

Thanks JerseyLove! My breast width is very close in width to yours too.. which I didn't realize was narrow until the doc told me. I'm trying to cut back on working out, but I know staying out of the gym for the next month is going to *kill* me ~ I've gotten pretty addicted to the endorphins I get after a good workout. I plan on getting back to leg work as soon as possible ~ I don't try to bulk my chest so I'm ok with resting there ~ it's the two pant sizes I've dropped that I'm worried about regaining!!

I think I'm going to take pics in with me ~ the width of the 270 sizers gave me a nice fullness without being TOO overdone - I think I may ask him to overfill a little? Or maybe even try a 300 to see the difference inside. I've got about 8 examples of what I like. Hoping he can fit me in there!

I totally agree with this post. I am short and was afraid of looking top heavy. I was a size A maybe very small empty B before surgery. I went with 325cc mod+ and I ended up the perfect size. Before surgery I was afraid I was going to look too big. I am so happy with the size and It is true what people say, augmented boobs do not look as big as the bra size you wear. I would of been disappointed if my boobs would of ended up any smaller.
A small C sounded so big to me before and now I realize how it really is not big at all. I would go buy a C bra and stuff it and wear it around for a few days and I bet you decide on at least a mid C! Good luck!!

Good luck on your breast augmentation next week. My first set was 290cc's and it got me to a nice full B. Boob greed hit hard and fast, so at 6 months I had a re-do to 400cc's and could not be happier. Hope you get what you're looking for

I went to the store to check out 32 & 34 C's and you guys are all absolutely right - it's really not that big, and I'd love to fill it. I think I'm calling my doc's office in a few minutes to see if I can't come in to check on the 300cc before my surgery next week... I'd hate to make a change like that the morning of ~ and I'm not sure I'd be able to since I'm not sure how all that works!!
