Size/Back Issues?

I did a search and couldn't find a thread on this. I have read a great deal of girls on here getting 400-600 (or even larger) implants. I was wondering does this cause you lower back problems? If so, how bad is it, can you minimize it?

Thanks

Question

I am also curious and haven't found much on the topic. I have a slight curve in my spine I found out about when I was younger and was wondering if anyone has had problems with breast augmentation exacerbating the problem?

Gyrl will become famous soon enough
I have 475cc right now. Absolutely no back pain or any type of pain associated with my boobs. They're not heavy at all. Once they're in, you forget you have implants at all! I'm getting 925cc next month and hopefully those won't hurt my back either. My ps said 4000cc= 8lbs. so my new set should be almost 2lbs each. Not sure if that's considered heavy for boobie standards!

I too have a curve in my spine (scoliosis) and so far I have no back pain. I broght it to my PS attention and he said I wouldn't have any more back pain than normal, and I haven't. I have similar stats to you (beccala) and went with 450cc which has put me in the Full D range.

thanks for the replies - hoping to get a little more. I'm not sure how to do the "thank" thing so I hit reputation.

like several of the girls who replied here, I am very petite. i have 550 and 525 ccs. I have never had any issues with back pain. I think bra choice is the key to avoiding it. Go to a boutique or VS etc and actaully get fitted, it really helps.

I have 340cc and for the first 2 weeks after surgery I had burning back pain in my mid back PS said it was just the muscles adjusting I am 4 weeks out and it is gone. I agree a good bra is the answer.

Well let me tell ya! I'm almost 5 weeks and I went with 500's... I also had a mini tt done and I have been dealing with back pain. Now, I have ALWAYS had back issues - 3 herniated discs - but I have been building my back strength over the past 4 years and I have successfully been able to "repair" a few things so that I don't suffer from much pain anymore. Only when I over do it. BUT - since my surgery I have been dealing with neck and back pain again - BUT - this is because of the way we have to sleep and also because of what we have put the body through along with the fact that we not allowd to be very mobile. When you stop being physical, that's when your body will start to have problems. This is a known fact. It has already started to subside and is not lasting as long throughout the day.

My Chiropractor, who was not real happy about the surgery, also told me that as long as I keep a perfect posture at the forefront of my mind at all times, I will be fine. You can go with a bigger implant, but you have to learn how to hold your posture and make a conscience effort ALL THE TIME to keep it solid. If you can do that - you'll be fine! Good luck!

I think even if you notice feel it it does in fact have an effect on your back. The fact is that we've been our life without these boobs and our bodies are not used to it. Even the smallest implant changes what your body is used too. I have an upper back pain that started after I was done healing and back to my normal life activities. Its not to serious and nothing a few back massages cant fix, but its there and it wasnt before.
I think the suggestion of working out your back prior to surgery sounds like a really good one. I didnt even take into consideration how these would effect my back. Im not talking about heavy weight training or anything just slight back workouts once a day!
Nice post, I havent seen to many questioning what this may or may not do to your back! I didnt even think of it!

Hey Chloe, thanks for the response i'm sending you a FR if ya don't mind? Glad to know that you have scoliosis and it hasn't really changed your back pain. My curve isn't too bad, and no one notices unless its pointed out. I did talk with my PS about it because I wanted to make sure it wouldnt alter the symmetry but he said it would be fine. I forgot to ask about pain though so i'm glad to hear a response from someone who's experienced it first hand. =]
