Help!! Am I missing something?

OK, I'm 46 yrs. 135 lbs. and 5'7". I have been blessed to look very young (most women think I'm in my early 30's) EXCEPT for my breasts..which were amazing during my two pregnancies but are saggy and deflated now. I wear either a 36 b or 34c bra....but really have to pad heavily for any real cleavage. I finally got up the courage to do augmentation...and decided that , if I'm going to do this, I dont want to "settle".....I want the porn star boobs for my hubby...but more so for me as well. I've done a TON or research....and decided that I wanted Mentor cohesive gel in a HIGH PROFILE and I want to be a full D or small DD cup size. My hubby helped me with the research (LOL...he loved that!!!) and we found a porn girl called Vanilla Deville (I'm guessing thats not really her name..he he) and she has almost exactly my body on a slightly smaller scale...except for the bust, of course. So...she has exactly the look I'm going for. For the consultation, the Doctor's office TOLD me to bring pics of the look I wanted...as well as some that I considered too big and too small. I did all this and brought several pics of the girl I spoke of both clothed and naked. At the consultation....the doctor didn't even want to see them. He just TOLD me what HE wanted to do...which was a 500 cc for my right and a 450 cc for my left (to balance them). We agreed on the Mentor silicon...BUT.... he wants to do moderate profile. After discussing, he seemed reluctant but agreed to moderate plus....yet didnt even want to discuss HIGH PROFILE. I've seen his portfolio and he HAS done them and they look fantastic. I want the 450 and 500...gel....I want it done SUB MUSCULAR. Every thing I've seen on the net...before /after pics of girls very much like me physically....tells me I'm right...but I just think the doctor is visualizing me as a conservative soccer mom.. (I go to HEDO every year!!!..lol) So tell me...is there any reason that any of you can tell me why I couldn't (or shouldn't) be able to get 450/ 500 gels done under the muscle? I'm thinking it may give me a bit of a non surgical lift benefit as well. Your thoughts?.....am I missing something??

You go for those great boobies of your dreams. If this PS isn't willing to listen to what you have to say & look @ the pics you brought in then perhaps you should go on a few different consults. Don't settle! Good luck!

keep checking around, I am sure you feel you have put your research into the PS but it sounds like his bedside manner sucks !
worst case something goes wrong or your so not happy whats he going to be like then?

Did he tell you your BWD measurement? If he's a decent surgeon, that did measure you thoroughly, then I'm guessing he felt HP's were too narrow... in the amount of cc's you're wanting.

You search long enough and you can find a surgeon to give you exactly what you want, but make sure it's truly right for your anatomy too. Could be the implant you have your heart set on is perfect for you. I'd suggest at least 3 more consults to see if you get a consensus.

You are definitely not missing anything...there are just some surgeons out there that will look at you and tell you what they want to do. I am 5'1" weigh just over 100 lbs and I am got 500cc mod+ implants under the muscle. I wanted the "pornstar" look to. My surgeon suggested the mod+ over the high profile because I do have a wider bwd than most girls my size and that if I went with the high profile that I would have that gap between my breast which I definitely do not want. Please take into consideration checking out some other doctors if your surgeon does not want to listen to you. I went to 4 different surgeons before I found the one for me. I mean really this is your body, and your surgery, you should have a say in what you get.

Most ps know whats best for our bodies first time around I think but it never hurts to get a second opinion its your boobs and we pay so much money for a breast augmentation you should be able to get what you want or at least have the ps explain to you why he does not think HP would suit your frame

The girls are right in my opinion, you should definitely get more than one Dr. to do a consult. It's sort of like if you are getting someone in to remodel your house. You will probably talk to a few contractors, maybe get a couple of quotes, discuss your ideas with them and listen to their ideas as well. And in the end you will most likely get a written proposal from them with what they intend to do and an estimate of cost.

Why should it be any different when getting a "remodel" on your body? In fact with your breast augmentation, you should be even more meticulous in choosing your "contractor". You have your personal health to consider. Good luck to you :

Wow! If you want to go for the porn star boobs, do it! I hope you get a second opinion because another Dr might say something different. I have high profile, tear drop shaped anatomicals at 295cc. I"m glad I went high profile. My Dr. discouraged me ... from a sociological perspective saying that european Dr.'s recommend against the San Diego 450cc-look. I'm 5'6" and only 110 lb, and am glad I didn't go with a higher cc amount because I'm thin. I've had two kids and I'm 41, and I look youthful ... my body looked boyish before my boob job. High profile, 450cc's will nearly poke an eye out.

I can't really say for sure if you are or are not missing something...but what struck me is that your doctor doesn't seem to be listening to you at all. Did you go to other consults? Why did you choose this doctor? If you chose your PS because you absolutely trust him, then that's one thing. But if you chose him for other reasons, maybe you should rethink using him. For a decision this big (no pun intended LOL) it pays to shop around and make sure you choose the best doc for you. GL!

I would agree with the posts so far......... it sounds like you need to go on more consults. Maybe find one who will look at the pics that visually show the look you are after. IMO, with your size and height, if you really want porn-star big boobs, you may need more cc's that you realize?! IDK, but a good PS will know. Take your time and get what you want.
