322cc or 350cc

My BA is scheduled for Feb 11. I just did my pre-op yesterday and am wavering on my size. I'm not sure that these two sizes are much different and it will cost $100 to re-order.

I'm 40 yrs old, 5'6" and 170lbs. I'm currently a size 12, 38B (small B) and have breastfed three children for 1-2 yrs each, so I look deflated. I'm not looking to be really large, just filled out...just have my boobs shape the clothing vs the clothing shape my boobs.

I'm getting Natrelle cohesive gel, round, textured.

When trying on the sizers yesterday, with a tshirt, the 350 looked big to me for projection, while the 300 looked good. Now that I'm home and have a surgery date, have read how most people wish they had gone larger, etc., I'm wondering if I should go with the 350cc.

The surgeon mentioned that I have big/strong (what did he say?!) shoulders and after measuring my current breast, enough room to fit up to a 600cc. I chose the 300...the Natrelle is actually 322cc, so that's what they ordered. He said my choice was very conservative. He doesn't give opinions...unless you chose something crazy.

So, do you think the 322cc is going to be enough to make the difference I'm looking for, or did I go too small for my frame?? Anyone here with similar measurements??

You can see my measurements in my stats, and I am only 10 days post-op. I went with 322cc and now wish I had done the 350cc! I was a very small A to begin with so there is the difference between us, but now I realize my body could have probably carried a bit more. Given that your PS says you're wider in your shoulders/chest I would say go with the 350!

teteili -- If that's your result in your avatar, I'll be VERY happy with the results. Way more volume than I currently have. I think I currently wear a B because of the width of my boobs...certainly not from projection. So depending on the bra, a B can be too big, but an A cup is not wide enough...if that makes sense!

I just tried on the demo kit again and both the #2 and the #3 look good. My husband likes the #2, thinking the #3 is too big.

So, I'm thinking of not changing...I don't know.

This might not help much, but go with your first instinct. I am SO glad I did. I was thinking of going bigger and although I might be an exception, I'm so glad I didn't! Go with the size you feel most comfortalble in (with your sizers).

Good luck!

Thanks! I think you're right and I'll stick with my first instinct. I'm sure anything will make a huge difference at this point!

I would tend to advise to go with the bigger size. There is such a teeny tiny difference between those two as it is. I was incredibly worried about looking too large - I just wanted to look proportionate and get the size that I was currently wearing with padding etc.

Now that I look back, my surgeon recommended 400cc and I think I would have been able to pull that off (or even at least 375cc) very nicely. I let my fear dictate my choice and I probably should have listened to the surgeon since he's the one with the education and expertise (measurements, etc). Soooo many girls choose a size out of the same fear and the vast majority wish they had gone bigger. I still very much love my results but I often wonder if they would have looked a little better (closer together, for example) with a slightly bigger size. There are some girls devastated with their results because their expectations are so far off from the results. There's a sinking feeling with paying thousands of dollars and getting a 'satisfactory' result when you should really be getting exactly what you want for that kind of money.

Read through as many threads about sizing as possible before you make your decision. Another very common theme at JBI is that a BA can be hidden very well under clothing, so much so that people get disappointed when others don't notice. So you won't be walking around looking like Dolly Parton with clothes on with a slightly larger size, I promise. You can hide those suckers and look like a saint very easily for any situation that requires it.

Good luck with your decision!

I think every woman is different and 350 cc's looks different on every body.
I actually went TOO BIG and am having a breast aug revision done this Friday.
Currently I have 350 filled to 425 and I feel huge. I'm 5'4 and weight 135lbs.
I am switching to silicone and going to go between 325, 350 and 375. My surgeon is going to bring all 3 and use what looks best but she knows I do not like being so big.
I a rather shy person and dont like walking it a room, boobs first. So it really depends on your personality and what you are looking for.

Hi there, i have pretty much the same implant as u, though, mine are textured. I had to choose from 322 and 354(that was the largest i was allowed to go as per BWD). They both looked big with the sizers and the projection seemed odd looking to me. Anyway, are u getting mod profile?? I ended up going with 354 bc, there isnt much of a difference anyway, and i didnt want to be disappointed. I started out with 36A/small B and now i'm HUGE!! I think i'm going to be D or DD. I also got overs. HTH

Ok, so I've been wearing the samples from the Natrelle kit all day and when I look in the mirror, the #2 (300) looks just like I do now, just that I'm full vs having to wear a padded bra to have any shape. The #3 (350) makes me look a size bigger. Also the 300 fits within my current bra, none hanging out in the center (I'm wearing a triangle style) while the 350 hangs out in the center giving me cleavage. If I hold them against my skin without a bra, the 350 is the same width as my breast, while the 300 is smaller.

So, I just called the PS office and changed to the 354cc. I hope it doesn't end up being huge. LOL. I'm sure I just feel that way since I'm so small now, more of a slope/deflated breast...so anything is going to be a big difference. But when you're paying over $6k, I don't want to feel that it wasn't worth it and I only look bigger in swimsuits when you can see my breast.

I can agree that neither are actually BIG. :-)

Thanks for all of your advice and encouragment ladies!! Only 3 weeks away. I've been contemplating this for over 20 yrs and only just had my appt 2 days ago.

AFaerie -- You are right on about deciding out of fear...your post helped me a lot. Thanks!

Kiwi77 -- I think we're getting the same implants. I changed to the 354cc and they are textured/round...I'm not sure what the profile is since we didn't talk about it specifically in relation to the implant itself. I think the PS is deciding that for me which is ok since he knows more. Thanks for posting your experience and info

I am just curious as to why you are getting textured? I always hear such awful things about it, my doc won't even use them! But if I were you I would go bigger, such a small cc change won't make too much of a diff.

Oh its hard! And the more i read the more confused i get! From what i have read i think that most girls wish or recommend to go larger. I think will do for my initial feeling rather than get too excited and go over the top!

Good luck and keep us posted.

satnam,
so you like the 350s? I would at least go for that amount.
I'm a few inches taller but also wore a 38B, size 10 clothes, & am about your age.
I got 350s and LOVE them but girl I am telling you, I totally coulda rocked 375s! it's just I didn't read a lot on this forum BEFORE getting the augmentation, I came to it more afterward.
and my doc never even offered to wear those sampler things. I am actually going to suggest to him that he offer those!
