5'7", 120lbs, 12.5 BWD Anyone with similar stats?

I'm going in on Thursday for a second sizing. I've been so confused! After reading so many posts I think I want to stay closest to my BWD. If I do that, the two Allergan implant sizes I could choose from would be 339 Midrainge (close to Mentor's MP's) or 450 HP's. Please share your experiences. Thanks!

could u explain the difference between the two. I go for my preop on thursday to try different ones. But my ps said they were smoothe and round saline, and im thinking of 390cc. He didnt say any different kinds though? could u explain for me plz? thanks

JBC, Both of the implants I mentioned have a smooth surface and are round in shape. They are also silicone. Both measure 12.4cm in width but the 339 Midrainge is flatter implant than the 450 High Profile, which projects about 1cm further than the other. Hope that makes sense!

We have similar stats. My BWD is 12.

I think you'll just have to try them and and see what kind of look your going for? I am in the exact same range (400HP instead of 450HP) and actually have my final fitting tomorrow!

I've been enlightened with the whole BWD thing and have basically narrowed it down to what you have. I'm hoping that I'll be able to try them on and then know for sure. I tried the HP's on before (that's what I decided before I called them back freaking out they were too big) and they stuck out a ton! I thought so anyways. I want a more natural look, so I'm thinking I want to switch to the mods. But really I'm just praying I'll "know" when I try them on and start to get excited for my surgery next week!

I'm starting out with a 34A and at first told my PS I wanted a small C but now I'm not sure. I was surprised when I first tried on the 450 HP's and actually liked the look. I've always been a real conservative person and don't know if I'd be comfortable going too big.

I have one 450 I don't think its all that big, honestly. Have you tried the rice test?

On a side note, I was really freaked out about HPs but I am SO glad I got them because they dont stick out as much when they are under your muscle, and I couldn't imagine having even less ccs than I do now!

How big of an A are you? 450s might get you into D territory. But Ds really are not that big, I know the bras look huge but the boobs DONT I promise!

Hi! I am 5'6 118, so similar stats. I have my breast augmentation on Friday and I am going with Allergan Mod 360cc salines filled to 390cc. I want to be a 32D when all is said and done, which is the same as a 34C. My BWD is approx. 12.4 and the diameter of the implant is 12.7. I was worried about going over my BWD, but my PS said not to freak out over specs, he is a professional and wouldn't do anything to cause complications. I totally trust him and can't wait!!!

Mommy depending on how big your 38Ds are you may end up 38DD, I wouldn't think bigger than that because its only a 150cc change

Erin, the thought of a D scares the heck out of me but it's reasuring to hear others say they really aren't that big.

Kendallsmommy, I am worried about going over my BDW too. For the Midrainge I could actually go up to a 371 which is a 12.9 and I'm a 12.5. I'm afraid of my boobs coming together???

I say go with the 450HP. I am two inches shorter and have 450cc saline overfilled to 540cc. Sounds big but it really does not look enormous at all. If I were taller, I think they would look even smaller. I think if you go with the smaller implant you might be kicking yourself later. Good luck!

I was worried about my boobs coming together too or having too much in my armpit, but my PS said that I should have a similar space to what I have now and he assured me I wouldn't have too much side boob. If you look at how big .4cm it's not much, and he said how he creates the pocket has more to do with the outcome.

I totally agree. I am a newbie too and my breast augmentation is due next monday and still hesitating on size and profile. My stats are similar to yours ( 5'8" 125lbs preop34b sagging). My ps has ordered 5 different pairs. I am bwd 12.5 and I am hesitating between the 375 mod+ with 12.8 or the 425 Hp with 12.5. I sooo much want side boobs and NO or very little gap between but I am scared of the high profile being not wide enough and the Mod+ being not big enough. Actualy I would simply

want to be exactly like you!

BWD is breast width diameter. The PS measures it with a special instrument so I'm not sure if or how you could determine what yours is on your own.

My stats don't quite fit yours, but I had a bwd of 12cm, and got the 400cc mod plus implants, so I went 1.1cm over my bwd. I do have a good amount of sideboob, but it's not like my boobs are in my armpits or anything, haha. You can check out my pics if you want.

Well, after going in for a sizing again today - I decided on the 450 HP's. I'm so scared and hope I won't be disappointed! I really like the way they look with clothing. I hope I will feel the same once I have them and I don't have clothes on!
