HP or Mod Plus

Hello Everyone!

I am having a very hard time deciding what type of implant I should pick. I had my first consultation yesterday and my PS told me that I should go with either a 325 cc HP or a 286 cc mod plus. I do not want to have the "torpedo" look and I also do not want it to look like I had to round balls shoved into my chest, and I am afraid that HP will do this. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you all so much!

Are you wanting saline or silicone? I know a ton of people get HP silicone and it doesnt even resemble the same look as a HP saline. Moderate plus is great either way.

Well, it depends. Silicone or saline? Over or unders? And what's your cup size now?

I have 375 HP silicone unders right now and they look fabulous! The perfect boobs but I'm ready to go bigger. Since they're silicone and unders it gives them a fabulous lift but nothing outrageous. I'm switching to Mod+ salines on Monday so we'll see how those turn out.

I had HP implants and I did not have the torpedo look. As long as you are going as close to BWD as possible you will be fine.

Mod plus will give you some projection and cleavage,the best of both worlds..

I'm kinda wondering too... Cause I have moderate plus saline, what is it? And how is it different than the others? I like it so far though...

Great question, I am a newbie also and am wondering the same thing. Personnaly I think a lot depends on wether your going under or over the muscle, and what your BW is. I have been leaning towards the HP's because they fit my BW better than the mods. Also I'm a 32AA so not to afraid of the projection. I am interested to see other Gals comments on the subject as well.

At first my doctor decided on HP for me because I am thin and narrow. On the 2nd consultation, I questioned about the cleverage. He changed to HP+. He said cleverage is easier to achieve with MOD+. HTH.

I have mod+ and LOVE then. you get great cleavage & side boob. I still have great projection too.

I am getting silicone and under the muscle. I want to have cleavage. Can I get that with either mod + or hp?

i have mod + and i love them, but please be aware that i was looking for a more "subtle" big look for breasts on a daily basis. when i want the va va voom, i can def push them up to look "BIG." i will admit, some women look great with the HPs though! Good luck with the decision making!

I love love love my mod+'s!!

That said, profile doesn't effect the look from the front, as much as it effects the projection (how far they stick out) and overall volume. My nurse told me the way they choose the profile is, if you want more volume, you get HP, if you want less, you get mod/mod+. She said it is always the best plan to fit the diameter of the implant to your body, and then choose a profile based on volume, not "look" b/c they look diff on everyone.

there is girls on here with mod's that look round and fake, and there are girls with HP's that look natural. It all depends on anatomy and placement. That's why it's best to communicate to your PS the LOOK you want through pictures, and then he can decide the best way to achieve that, he is the professional after all

I was also wondering if the profile will change your look. I have 325cc hp and have about a two finger gap. Would mod or mod+ have made them look closer together?

Yea, 325cc mod+ might look a little closer together, but from the side wouldn't have as much projection (stick out as much).

I struggled with the HP/mod+ decision as well but ultimately went with the mod+. I think if you just want a full B/small C, the 286cc mod+ would be a better choice. You'd get a decent amount of projection from the HP that would probably put you above a B cup.

It really depends on your body type and what your measurements are, especially the BWD. I found that this link helped me make a little bit of sense over it. Also, check out all the before and after photo galleries and try and check out girls with the same body types of yours and see the comparisons of those that had mods versus highs. Good luck with your decision!

omgg im totally wondering this too!!! because i think i prefer the rounder look then torpedo look. i want my gap to fill a little. but then again i have a sml 26.5" ribcage so i ight get this with hps... hmm i jst dnt know lol. but i think id prefer clevage over projection. ...

OKAY HERE'S A QUESTION...

If you go with mod+ does that mean you get more cc then hp if you still want fullness??

Nope, if you wanted to go with the most possible cc's, you have to go with HP, b/c the added projection gives you added cc's without going too far over your chest wall measurement. Mod+ will get too wide for you first, because it's a wider implant.

For ex: if you wanted 500cc, and you could only fit a 13cm wide implant, you need HP to get that many cc's b/c mod+ 500cc is 15cm wide, and so on (those #'s are EXAMPLES, I didn't look them up, too lazy

).

I also decided I'd prefer flatter and rounder, as opposed to narrower and projected. Everyones taste is different tho.

They are now 5 months old . I had a Full TummyTuck about 1 year and 7 months ago. I am 36 years old and I a wife (married for 8 years together for 9) to my best friend, and proud mother of my 7 year old daughter. I started out with barely an A cup and ended up with a 38DD/E cup. I love my gels! When In Doubt Go Bigger!
