Uneven, shifted, pain in shoulder!!!!

So listen I have been back and forth on the boards about my boobs being uneven, I have also complained about a sharp pain in my shoulder. I also went in and talked about getting my boobs squeezed as hard as possible. Well since that day they have been uneven and the right felt completely different. I told them but they just said the left dropped and the right needed to drop. That was 1 week ago. Well 2 nights ago I felt a lump around my crease (incision) and I go in yesturday to get my stitches out and they tell me that the lump is just the healing. The nurse showed me the valve on the saline implant and it looked just like what I was feeling (the lump) they said everything was fine and to wear the strap to get that implant to come down as the other had already dropped. Well from the day I went into get my message done. After plenty of touching and feeling I come to the conclutition that the implant is shifted and in the wrong position. I call the answering service and they get ahold of my PS. I am going in tom. he has to manipulate the implant back into position as it is in a different position. The valve is in the crease and all the liquid from the implant is at the top of my shoulder and under my arm. So Now I know why I am having pain in my shoulder and what was the last straw was I am starting to get stretch marks on the top of my breast and there is a ton of skin under the where the crease is so it should be filling out not trying to pull more skin. I knew there was something WRONG. So now I have to go tom and get it fixed. Is there anything I can do about the stratch marks? He acted like its no big deal and happens all the time but is will it being in that position for a week and 1/2 cause any problems???? I am so nervous and upset that this could happen and he didn't notice it yesturday. I am so upset and just want everything right. I have an apt. at 3:30 tom to get it fixed!!!!!!!!!!! But do you think it will cause me problems. That is already the side that has to much skin and now its stretching on the top because the implant is all up there and instead of in the pocket.

ALSO HAVE any of yall had this problem and had to get your implant manipulated to change position? I am so nervous that this week of having the implant like this is going to have some affect on the way it looks or feels after it heals. I am so upset and will be like this till the implant is fixed. I am so upset that I have been having pain, getting stretch marks, and was told to use the strap to push it down but what is going to happen to my muscles.

This really sucks so none of yall have had to get your implant re adjusted?

Ok....I haven't had this problem and I don't know anyone else who did either,....but....
The part that I don't understand is this...
You are saying that because the valve is at the bottom of your crease,..then all the fluid in the bag is at the top near your shoulder,...that CANNOT be possible! No matter how that implants turns,..the fluid will fall to the bottom of the bag due to gravity. For instance,..take a balloon and fill it almost to the top with water........no matter how you turn that balloon,...whether the knot is at the top or the bottom,..all the water in the balloon will be at the bottom. Gravity will happen no matter what.
I understand that the implant needs to be positioned correctly because you don't want the valve in your crease,..but I don't think that's what's causing whatever's going on at your shoulder.
Just my opinion,..I'm no doctor,...take it for what it's worth, LOL.

I don't know. All I know is I went in there and he squeezed them and ever since then that implant has been in a weird position and its all up on the top and not the bottom. I can feel the valve its like say this is the girls

( .) ( ) its like that but in the crease. and all the liquid is on the top pushing my skin up causing stretch marks and pressure in the upper area. No telling what he did. He acted like it was no big deal and is very easy to manipulate but my body has been trying to heal for the past week 1/2 and now its going to have to be readjusted and fixed and no telling what problems are going to come from this. I am already getting stretch marks. I just hope and pray that he is able to fix it and it goes back to how it was during the first week!! I am scared to death that he messed something up now and I am going to have problems. All I wanted was to have a complication free surgery.

(((BIG HUGS))) I am sorry you are going through this and I don't know anyone that has had this happen either. I agree with Cinderella though that gravity should cause the fluid to fall downward. You might post to one of the PS's on the forum and see what they think. Good luck and keep us posted!

I will be going in at 3:30 so he can "manipulate" the implant back into the right position. For some reason when he squeezed it, it changed position. I understand why though he did it hard and I was only 1 week post op. I will be expressing all of my concerns today and that if anything in the future was to happen this would be his fault. I even called them and told them how concerned I was the day after because from the minute I left the hospital my right breast felt different and I had that feeling something was wrong. I called they said it was the healing process went in on Monday they said on its nothing just use the strap well its causing stretch marks from all the pressure on the top and no matter what I do massage wise it stays the same and there is basically no reason to even to the massage its so HIGH. They were perfect when I went in and its horrible that I left with a messed up girl. I told my friend it sucks I have one perfect boob and the other is all screwed up and almost looks upside down. I am so depressed and just cant wait for 3:30 to come. It can not come quick enough!!!!!!!!

Good luck at your appointment today! Let us know how it goes. And I agree it does stink when one is different than the other. I am fighting CC in the righty, I just wish it were like the left. Such is life!

I am so sorry... I know you are really, really upset. I am not sure I can say anything to help, but wanted you to know that I did read your posts, and I would be upset if I were you.
If I understand this, your ps manipulated your breast at the office, some very strong massage, and you feel he actually re adjusted the implant, moving it out of the correct position? If that is what you mean, then surely he can correct this as easily.. stretch marks usually fade, and a few that you may have now, I really think will pretty much disappear when this is fixed. I am so sorry honey.. I feel really bad for you, but I do think/feel this will get fixed, and you will heal just fine. I really do.

Yes when he manipulated it he moved it out of the pocket or something and the implant changed position. So he said he will manipulate it back but I am upset it went un-noticed on monday when I was TELLING them about my concerns. I am just glad I was able to get ahold of him yesturday through the answering service and he is going to take me in today. I cant handle anymore of this. It is killing me knowing that something is wrong I am just hoping and praying that it will be something very SIMPLE and with just a little manipulation and movement everything will heal normaly and like it was from the beginning. I will post pictures of my process and as soon as I get back because at this point I am not willing to leave without this worked out. I have pictures of the beginning when they where perfect then when they changed and then I will have picturess of them "fixed". Just pray and keep your fingers crossed that everything goes good for me. I am scared to death that something has gone wrong because of his mistake.

So I went in yesturday he did some pushing up and on the sides and stuff. I told him about all the problems the whole time I am talking to him he is moving the RIGHT implant around and filling all the kinds of stuff. He told me that everything will be fine and that by 6 weeks they will both be the same and I wont even know the difference. I asked him again before he left the room if he was sure and he said yes. Well yesturday was the first day I didn't get the sharp pain. I was getting it in the morning but after the PS apt. I didn't fill anything. I can raise my arm now which before I couldn't and I dont have as much pressure on the top. As well as my nipple seems higher on the breast now. So Whatever he did to the right breasted worked. My left looks great and the right is finally starting to look normal and he said by 6 weeks they will both be the same. So I am going by what he says. I am wearing regular cloths now and can wear a bra as long as there is no underwire so after the apt I feel much better. The implant isnt pushing up as much anymore and I can feel the implant more on the bottom of the breast. He said NO STRAP and I will be fine. I am going by what he says he just better hope by summer I can go braless . My boobs will be perfect except one of my nipples is just a big bigger then the other but they will be in the same position and both girls will be the same sime!!!! Finally I have BOOBS!!!!! I don't care that they are only 325 and 350 they brought be to a 32D and I am happy!! So pray that the right one does heal right and they are perfect!!
