Scar tissue

Hello ladies!
So I found a little bump that I'm getting checked out by my primary doc soon to see if it's anything serious.
My ps thinks it might be scar tissue, but does anyone know what scar tissue feels like??
I have a pea size little ball next to my nipple which is my incision spot as well.
Any advice or support would help.

Thanks

My incision was at the breast crease and where the incision is, it feels slighty bumpy along it. I have been using bio oil to soften the scar tissue and to reduce scarring. I was told to massage the scar tissue to encourage it to soften up.
Funnily enough I also have a pea sized lump and mine is next to my nipple even tho I didn't have the incision there. PS said it was probably the edge of the implant but I am not convinced because it is no where near the edge of my implant?!?!? Now I am considering paying to get a second opinion in case it's a bad growth

I had a similar situation. My incision area was tranxaxillary, and I got a small bump under my arm near that area. I thought it was going to be scar tissue and be there forever, but its completely gone now. I was told it was probably the internal sutures.

I think it's better safe than sorry...so even though we are probably to young to develop anything serious it's a good idea to get it checked out. Good luck!!

When you felt it before it disappeared, was it all over the incision spot?
what worries me is the shape of mine, it's a ball-like shape and maybe 2cm away from my scar.

I have the same thing. Scared me when I found it. Made an appt right away. ps said nothing to worry about because of the feel of it he knew it was nothing serious. He said he could put in a needle and take out some fluid but if it wasn't bothering me he would leave it alone. Yea, right stick a needle into my boob and have a chance of it poking my
$6,500 boob job. I didn't think that was necessary!! It has been several months now, it hasn't grown, it don't bother me so I'm not dwelling on it.
