Eeep Right Breast Sitting Lower (is this normal for overs?)
Okay now I am starting to worry. My right breast has been the one hurting the most for over a week now. Then I just took some more pics and the right one is definitely lower than the left one. I am unsure if this is normal. Do *overs* drop? Am I bottoming out? Or is the left one just taking it's time to drop too? I am so confused and really starting to worry. Suddenly worrying about being 325 when I thought I was 380 seems so insignificant now. I am really thinking the worst right now.

Hi there
I don't have overs, but when I was dropping with my unders I did have pain and discomfort. That's when I realized that my breast had dropped. It sounds like when I dropped so I guess all you'll have to do is wait for the other breast to drop and let the fluffing begin.
I think you are fine. Take care, Josie |

Its still aching just the right one. I am trying to rest that arm but even when I move my left arm I can feel the ache in the right boob still and it is definitely sitting a lot lower. I hope others with *overs* can tell me if this happened to them. I am really scared.

Hi BrizVegas. I am OVERS and we are only 1-week apart in boobie b-days....
First: Us OVERS do not DROP OR FLUFF (especially after 1 month). We appear to 'drop' a little in the beginning which is just the swelling going down. If you are 1 month post-op, then swelling should already be long gone. Second: Can you have someone take a picture of you with both arms at the side? Compare these new photos to your BEFORE photos. I think that sometimes when we have pain we will over compensate in the way we stand which may have things appear off a bit. ...or maybe your before photos will show that one was slightly off to begin with??? Third: Mine feel like they 'slosh or move' a bit when going from the leaning position to the standing position. I don't think they are moving as much as you think, BUT,, This is supposed to go away with time, and is normal while your implant and pocket are adjusting. Fourth: My right breast has always hurt a bit more than the left, this is supposed to be normal as each breast is technically a different operation. I have actually spent the last two nights bra-less and have found that my right breast is not hurting as much _ I think it was being bound a little too tight and needed some pressure relieved. In any case, these are just my experiences as an OVERS girls that was boobified within a week of you I would say to just relax, you went through major surgery, let your body heel, and if in a few days to a week, it still bothers you. CALL YOUR PS Hope this helps!PS: You look Gorgeous! Remember you are healing

Thankyou so much for that. I took a few more pics and there is still definite drop in the right breast ( I stood hands by my side and let the timer go off on the camera) I think I will definitely ring tomorrow. This is all so new and worrisome. But I appreciate every bit of help I get from here.

Or you are most welcome to pm me, and I will give you my email so you can send a pic. I hate to say what is going on without actually *seeing* what you are seeing. We do "slosh" yes, thats normal for overs and unders.. we do "fluff" just a bit, and its very normal for one side to appear bigger or smaller while healing.. if you look at my pics, my left side was def bigger.. but now they are the same.. I am just not sure.. When you look in the mirror, are you nipples even? Does one seem too high, or does one seem too low? Please try not to worry... pm if you want, and def call your ps tommorow if no other reason than to settle your worry. Sending good thoughts for you that all is well and this is just a healing stage. |

Hi dear! I feel for you! I don't really know what may cause this change that you have but I advise you to send your PS an e-mail with the pic you took & explain what worries you - this way you can get his reply faster....
Don't worry before you actually hear back from your doc. maybe this is not an issue! take care & keep us posted! |

I have unders so im not much help but my left one sits lower than my right, I thought I was bottoming out because my nipples were off but now my right is starting to catch up and my nipples are even now. I would say contact your PS and see if you could email pics or come in.

Thanks everyone well I have just woken up and after I get off here with my morning energy drink I am going to have a shower and take more pics. There is still a dull ache :-( I will send a pic directly to my PS mobile if need be. By the sounds of it , with overs, dropping this much isn't normal. The nipples look slightly misaligned too. I just rechecked a few pics yesterday and even in this singlet top you can see that the bottom of the right boob is lower. I posted it here for you guys to see.
implants day 18 026 (2)__1219012874_203.213.7.137.jpg I think you can click on the pic to enlarge it. Gosh you can definitely see in tops how low the right one is :-( |

It's hard to know for sure what's going on. Overs sure can drop a bit and this would be around the right time for that. The other might follow.
Another thought - did your right breast sit a little bit lower than the left before the surgery? Sometimes our pre-op asymmetries can be exaggerated by the BA. Call the PS and see what they have to say about it. Keep an eye on it and take photos every couple of days for your records. Make sure you wear a bra as much as possible too. *fingers crossed*

BrizVegas I hope you get to speak with your PS soon, and that all is well. Did you compare the asymmetry to your before pics? In any case, please let us know whats going on once you find out. Thinking about you til then...
