Weird indentation during massage
Hello everyone.
I had my BA 6 weeks ago. Everything was going smoothly, still is, but there is one thing I've noticed. The last several times I've done my breast massage I've noticed a strange indentation where my breast looks sort of lumpy in a few places. This only happens when I do inward and downward massage. It almost looks like the capsule is preventing my implant from moving around like it used to. It isn't hard or anything but I was wondering if this might be a first sign of contracture. What do you all think? It was very smooth and round for the first 5 weeks and now this! |

Hey, thanks for the bump and also the welcome! I'm worried about it. My PS is gone on vacation for a couple of weeks but I called the office and they are going to get back to me on it. If anyone else has any ideas as to what might be causing this or if it might be CC, please post. Thanks so much!
JinAZ- great to hear from another AZ girl. There are quite a few on here it seems! |

Hello! I am new to the forum but felt possibly the same thing this past Sunday. I am seeing my PS today and will post his response.
What I felt was like a bubble by my cleavage. Soft indentation. Then yesterday it was kind of harder. And today of course the day of my appointment it feels different again. My PS is going to think I am nuts! I will certainly report back his thoughts.......... |

Thanks for posting. It might be the same thing. I contacted my PS (he's out of town but his staff talked to him about it for me) and I am going in to see him in a couple of weeks. He says it could be scar tissue from my previous surgeries or that it could have been this way all along but the swelling was covering it up before. He just won't know until he sees me. I'm afraid but trying to stay calm. I just don't want it to be CC. Mine looks normal except when I push on it. Is yours that way?

Did you find anything more out about this? I have this indentation right on the side of my right breast, I thought it was a ripple... but now I am kinda wondering. It is literally just an indent in the implant on the side of the right breast... so is that similar to what you have?

Hello Ladies! I went to see PS today and he told me the bubbles/indentations I am feeling could be a number of things but they "should" eventually work themselves out. He encouraged me to call if I had any more concerns. I would recommend calling or emailing your PS so you can have peace of mind. I tried to cancel my appointment this morning and they insisted I come in. All follow-ups are free of charge. He also did a laser treatment on my underarm scars....included with the price. I hope I stay calm for a while!

Mine only appears when I do my massage, not when my breast is in a normal position. But yes, it is like an indentation. I go in to see my PS when he gets back from vacation in two weeks.
