sooooo disappointed

i am now 6 weeks out and still on restriction! righty has not dropped at all and ps will not do a revision until i am 6 months out. he says that because i had tubular breasts that he had to make internal vertical incisions from the crease to the nipple and he thinks that the internal scars adhered to each other which made thick scar tissue above the crease and it's keeping me from dropping on that side. so he is keeping me on restriction to see if the scar tissue will break up (which it hasn't......at all). anyway, it is so hard because i have 3 kids under 6 and our summer is going right out the door. i am not allowed to do anything that might make me swell, including sitting outside in the heat. so now i've noticed lumpy masses right at the crease and it is suddenly really tender in that area and i am still not completely convinced that there is not something more going on there because the right side looks so much smaller, but it is not any harder than the other side except where the scar tissue is at. i am really frustrated because i feel that the mass of scar tissue is to thick to break up anyhow and is getting bigger by the week. if i have to have a revision anyway i would just like to get on with life with my kids until that time comes. i am not frieking about how they look or about another surgery, i just want some good play time with my kids. i wan't to go on the float trip with everyone this weekend and to little sahara to ride the dunes next month and to the lake to go camping with my family and well..........i'm just frustrated. i'm feeling guilty for having this done and also feeling a little sorry for myself as well. just had to vent for a moment. thanks.

I know I'm bummed too I have to wait 6 months until my repair as well. I'm there with you Lets just hope for the best.

You sound like a busy women. I never had dropping issues but had other problems myself. Do u happen to have any pictures?
have you tried massaging or anything. You sound so fragile....

I have synmastia..so basically I can't get cleavage. When I push my boobs together it looks like uni boob. Not exactly the results I was hoping for
My PS isn't being very helpful, seems to think I have perfect results. So now I'm looking for someone to redo it.

I completely understand how you feel! My left one will not drop and I had my BA on July 10 and I am so impatient! Everytime I think it is getting better I will put on a shirt that is a little bit low cut and it really shows that the left one is high and round compared to the right one. My PS said the same thing that he will not do anything until 6 months...I am going to the beach next weekend and I am already agonizing over how they will look in a bathing suit.

I am 6 weeks today as well...and I don't understand what all the fuss is with dropping...I have read on here time and time again that dropping can take months! I saw my PS yesterday for my 6wk check up and yep my left has dropped but not my right...and she said that b/c I am right handed and do more with my right the muscle will be a little more stubborn...

I wouldn't be too worried about not dropping it will happen, let your body do what it needs to do to heal...think about it...you are putting two foreign objects into your body...it is reacting how it wants to...

I would give it more time as your PS suggested.

I too don't have cleavage naturally b/c my breasts (if you can even call what I had pre-BA breasts) are quite far apart. Before I had my BA, my PS made me perfectly aware that she is not going to do reconstructive surgery to move my breasts over and that bras can do wonderful things. Even with just a normal (non-pushup or push-in bra on) I can get 3 fingers in between my boobies...maybe four...ahhh..but I knew this from the begining b/c of how my chest cavity is...does it look kind of silly in a bikini...yep for sure...but it is 100% better than it was on July 8th...

Were your PS's not upfront with you about time and results???

jewel123, i am so sorry to hear about your symmastia, i guess we're kinda in the same boat with a revision. and excited&terrified, i have gotten a second opinion and that surgeon said he wouldn't doubt i will have to have the thick scar tissue broken up. lovely, i do have pics, but you can't see in clothes (i tried). the nipple points down on the right side and is held back by the scar tissue if that makes any sense. i am not upset that i am not dropping or even that i may have to have another surgery, i just want to get on with life for now if a revision is inevetable. how can i start a progression collage? and can others see? i have my before photos and it really is amazing what the doc did with a deformity as severe as mine, i would kinda like to share.

i added a new profile pic, so you can tell it is higher, but you can't tell the severity of it with a top on. it is constricted so bad on that side that my nipple is taking an oval shape instead of round like the left.

Ya I hear you guys. It's so hard to do NORMAL things with these boobs. People expect you to be showing them off and looking hot and you're like hiding them. And you don't want to explain to everyone that you got messed up because most of them are ignorant and will say "oh you should have never gotten them"....like that's going to solve your problem now right. I'm going camping this weekend and I'm wearing the T-bra which I have to wear 24-7, kind of hard to wear a bikini or anything cute for that matter.

The dropping is really frustrating, and I hate massaging. It wouldn't be so bad if I could get it right!!!! My PS just cleared me, so I have no restrictions (I had my BA July 16th.). I still have to wear the bra he gave me, but he said I can go shopping for a new one . I had tuberous breasts also and had to have the same procedure as you. My PS said that my massage is so important because it will loosen the tight skin on the bottom of my breasts and make the implants fall where they need to be. I still have a long way to go before they're done, but my PS said they look great for only a month. I hope things get better for you soon.

Hi, I don't exactly get how it feels but sorry about it anyway. Your shape looks good to me, but you know better.
There are many unhappy girls here, just try to be patient, this 6 m will fly. I wish you all the best and can't wait till you share pics. I have nobody to take my pics cause only 2 friends know and they are both away now.

i'm sorry you are frustrated and your summer is flying by and you are not allowed to do things! i too am waiting 6 months to see if i can get my cc fixed..it stinks waiting! i also have 3 kids and i know how hard it must be for you to not be able to do things with them this summer..try to be patient and just think, this time next year, you'll be fixed and playing with your kids and camping, etc! this is a great site to vent vent away!

So I posted a picture in my signature of what my boobs look like. Actually wearing the thong bra has made it a little better I think. Maybe I'm just being hopeful. But I just took that signature picture and it didn't look as bad as before. It could be the bathing suit top too. But you can tell in the picture that it's raised at the top. It's like there is no gap. My boobs would look twice as big if I had that line.
