Hi girls! I apologize from the start - this post is to vent...bc I feel miserable...my BA has been such an emotional rollercoaster, I am sooo tired of it((( As many of you know I have been stressing out about the fact that my boobs are so close (suspecting symmastia), that's not clear yet...but to add to that - RIPPLING started! It is in my cleavge area when I bed forward it's all over the inner side of both boops and when I lay on the side it's the same story...so basically I have to be strait up all the time not to see it(((
I know that I am very thin and tiny frame and little breast tissue to start with...so I think I can't blame my surgeon for this flaw...To be honest with you, I did this surgery in the hope to feel more self-confident (as most of us) & relaxed in the bedroom, but I can tell you that right now I am always consious about the fact the my bf will see how terrible it looks & he wont feel attracted to my new boops or he will feel disgusted...and then what did I do it for??? if I cant relax..if I cant enjoy...I guess its my destiny not to have nice boops. Of course there is a possibility that if I go under the muscle the rippling will go away... but I cant handle any other BA any time soon. I also have a tiny hope that maybe after I will have a child in the future my own breast tissue will cover the implant more (maybe this is stupid to think so...) just a thought... Thank you for listening! |

Hello,
Can you call your PS to discuss the rippling with him if you did not call already? Hugs to you. Lisa Quote:

Rippling is very common and you're right, more than likely it's not your ps's fault. I had plenty of breast tissue (started out a C cup) and got 390 filled to 450 complete unders and I have rippling. It's a small amount along the bottom portion of my side boob when I bend completely over. It kind of bothered me at first but it doesn't anymore. My hubby doesn't even notice it and I have to bend completely over to feel it myself. Sorry you're having such a hard time though. GL

Don't apologize hon. You can come here and vent anytime, there's always someone to listen. I'm sooo sorry that you're so sad. I can imagine how hard it is to go through everything associated with getting a BA, not to mention the cost, and then have issues with the outcome. What is your PS saying? Is rippling something that can eventually go away or is it something that stays no matter what? I'm sorry that I dont have any great advice but I'm always here to listen whenever you need to vent. Sending you BIG hugs....

Thank you! I have not faced my PS with the rippling problems yet bc it started the past week and I just wanted some time to pass bc they are changing day by day, so I can come in there with well formulated concerns...if you know what I mean. I will definetly point it out to him...but I bet there is nothing he can do about it.

Well if you feel better I have rippling to and will have a redo sometime soon in the near future to switch to silicone. Your lucky that if you stand straight you cant see yours because mines are inevitable. Its only on my right inner cleavage and there is at least 5 of them =(
I feel you girl so I have to switch to silicone to TRY to help the problem. Good luck with yours and hopefully that will go away over time..

Yes girl...you know how it feels...thaks for your kind words! I cant blame this on the implant bc i have smooth silicone, but as I said I am "over" the muscle so my chance would be going "under" I guess...I don't know at the moment I am so lost. I pray that I won't develop symmastia & that the rippling wont get worse. And if worse comes to worst I will be looking into a redo..or explant....who knows? Stay in touch & I hope the silicone will improve the situation for you! Howver I should tell you that your pictures looks wonderful!!! If I did not know that you are facing this issue I could never tell by your pictures, perfetc shape, size and everything! |

BTW forgot to ask you - you went from "overs" to "unders" right? - this was bc of the rippling as well or some other issue? Did you have ripples with "under"? Thanks for reply! |

I switch from Overs to Under because my 1st PS gave me overs even though I told him i wanted unders. I knew that my type of body should get unders and he did it without my permission. And i think he only did overs to begin with so yea... But my main concern was bottoming out and not rippling for my 1st surgery. When the implants is loose due to bottoming out i think that result to rippling. No i have unders and i have rippling in cleavage area which i didnt have before. And my left was the one that really bottomed out and i think i have rippling ONLY on that one is because the pocket is still loose. And it super dropped. My left implant is perky and straight. But i do believe unders help. Because i cant feel my bag as BAD as the 1st BA with Overs...I hope i made sense....

Ya isn't that sad....we all get BA's because we want nice boobs and unfortunatelly some of us aren't so lucky
![]() I don't have rippling, but I don't have cleavage...lol...so in the end I do know how it feels to not feel good about showing them off (even to your significant other). I'm sorry hun and just know you are not alone in all this. I know that doesn't change anything, but sometimes it helps me to know that I'm not the only person that has problems. And unfortunatelly it's more common then most of us think. |

1st i am a little surprised as tiny as you are that they gave you overs. Unless you have the cohesive 3 aka gummy bears there is always a little chance of rippling..I have a little even with unders. I have been under to overs to unders and i like the ease of healing with the overs ,but as soon as they settled i got ripples.
Mention it to your ps, Maybe they will help you out. |
