Many complications been through it all

I am a new member here and felt I had to add my story. Sadly, I've had or have almost every problem I am reading about. After 3 surgerys in 3 years, I have gone from OK, to terrible, to worse, to omg! I am very scared now to get another surgery. I'm having problems finding a bra that doesn't hurt, I have ripples, I have skin sewn in, tons of scars, malpositioned implants and more. I need the best of the best now, and need feedback. I just want a little self esteem back. This has been a nightmare for me. Any help would be so appreciated

Was your surgeries all with the same doctor? Perhaps the ladies here can help you find a doctor that specializes in reconstruction? I had a friend that had a very very hard time.. she found a wonderful doctor and scared as can be she trusted him. She is now flawless.

3 years ago I felt a lump under my armpit, had it removed, It was a lymph node containing silicone from my 15 or so year old implants.Found a local plastic surgeon to swap them for the new ones. I wanted the least invasive possible surgery using the same scars to do the swap. I did not have perfect boobs, but my husband was happy with them and I did look great in a swimsuit at the pool.The surgeon said he would like to do more to make them perkie but I said no, I do not want more scars. He told me the surgery would take 2 hrs.,3 at the very most. I woke up from over 7 hrs of general surgery very confused. When the bandages came off I had big pieces of gauze sewn to the center of my chest, scars going down from my nipples to the bottom of my breasts, lopsided breasts, implants that slid up to my shoulder area when I lay down, drains coming out of my ribs below. The stitches from the sewn on gauze ripped and scarred up the center of my chest. He never could explain to us what went wrong, he kept saying just wait I can fix it all. 7 mo. later, the 2nd surgery to fix his first. He changed the smooth implants to textured and tried to fix some of the horrible scars and lopsided implants. The results were off centered breasts, the left implant crossed over the center of my chest, still lots of scars and they were badly rippled all the way around them. Again, he said just wait, I can fix it. I was so traumatized I could hardly speak at times. Aprox. a year later he did a third surgery to fix his second surgery. Before the surgery I was crying and pleaded, no more scars! Now, after he sewed in human skin grafts to the inside of my breasts, I still have many ripples. He also for some reason opened the pockets for the implants under my armpits, so now most of the implant is on and under my armpits, making it impossible to wear a bra comfortibly. I have a big ripply gap between my breasts. And to top it off he gave me 3 inches more scars on each breast. I am sort of still in shock from this whole ordeal, and I don't know what to do. I am now 8-9 mo post op. My husband and I need to get as much of this fixed as possible, but at this point, I am terrified. The doctor that did these 3 surgerys will never touch me again, even though he charged us a fortune for what he did. I try to keep my chin up, but most days I just cry.

OMG i am so sorry that you had to go through all of that! Absolutely NEVER allow him to touch you EVER again and if I were you I would look into a medical malpractice suit against him. Is be board certified or a fairly new doc? Regardless, I would recommend legal action. It will never make up for what you had to go through but it WILL be on his record and may dissuade other girls from going to him. to you!

OMG!!!! I feel so, so sad for u!!! I thought I went through a hard time with a horriable micro-bacteria infection!!!
I know how hard it is to stay positive when ur in a situation like this!! Keeping your chin up is just to hard some days... I know I had days after my implants were removed & I was 'healing' I just cried & thought ..... Why??? Why me??? 1000's of women get BA's & I have to get the fricken botch job!!! Why didn't it just go good??

My question is... what has your plastic surgeon said?? What has he done all this cutting for?? What is he saying for himself?? U must be horrified!!! I was sadly disapointed with my plastic surgeon for months after my 1st & 2nd BA... he did 'fix' me in the end....
But I had gone to other plastic surgeon's & a lawyer too...
I had requested my OR transcripts so other plastic surgeon's knew what he had done in the OR...
I was not messing around anymore it was fix it or I'm going to take you to court!!

U have came to a good place!!!!
Tell us more of your story & whom ur plastic surgeon is so none of the JBI girls will go!!!!

Thank you so much for the support. I wonder if it would just drag it out longer for me to do that. Maybe it would help me knowing I stopped somone else from believing his promises. He is not a young doctor. And where would I find someone who would take a plastic surgery case anyway? Thanks again.

So very sorry!!! I have found someone who I feel is suffering more than me these days. All I do is sit on the computer all night and do research because I do not want to back to my original PA. He did 3 surgeries, IN ONE YEAR, and everytime I come out, something else goes wrong. He has done things without my consent as well. Did a capselectomy's (or whatever it is when you cut and thin the muscles) for no apparent reason!!! I had no medical reason to get them!!! Now I have the implants sticking out of my cleavage area for all to see! Double Bubble, bottoming out, CC in one breast, along with a 3-4 cm gap between my breasts! So nothing went right, and keeps getting worse!

I am a nervous wreck! I just want to get this all fixed and have a set of nice breasts, IF POSSIBLE NOW! I have been to several consultations, and the news is not great! I got a quote for $20,000 from the best revision Dr., the one that I finally trusted! Now what do I do?! All because my doctor did something he didnt even get my consent to or give me any warning. He was just supposed to suture my breasts up. His comment to that was "Oh, didnt I tell you beforehand, I thought I did!!!"

We are not the Rockefeller's, and I don't want or have the money to be 'fixed up' with the 'possibility of looking good' afterwards. I sorta know how you feel! I still don't know what to do. I went to New York City to see 2 doctors today, with no luck. One says they can be fixed, one says they can't. WHO DO I BELIEVE ANYWAY!

No matter how long it takes, you will make his life a living hell, and he deserves that. I don't know where you are from but just google the area you live in and malpractice attorneys. Find a firm you like and bring in with you pictures and i'm sure once your story is heard action will be taken. Do NOT let him get away with this!!

Any lawyer that deals with medical suits will take you on... have you been photographing everything? Keeping tabs on what has been happening in your life... u can take him to court for more than just your surg... u have emotional distress... medical costs...time off work??? it's not just about boobs.... this is your life u r putting on hold!!
R u going to have another plastic surgeon fix u?

I am so sorry you are also living the nightmare. I know there are good ones out there. I do wish the bad ones couldn't get away with damaging surgerys, a lot of it is permanent, not like an ugly shirt you can just take off! I wish for you the best possible results and a good surgeon who cares. Take care.

Awww doll... You really need to seek out a good plastic surgeon or at this point it could be the need of a reconstructive surgeon maybe?? I don't know I haven't seen your pics nor am I a surgeon. Sweetie never let that surgeon touch you again. You need to tell us what area you are from maybe someone on here can refer a surgeon???

I really hope you find a great doctor that can get your boobs of your dreams...

omg your story is horrible! i feel for you! you should really consult with a lawyer... i know that wont fix your boobs BUT if you win you may be able to get some money back to fix it... i hope you kept all of your paperwork and maybe pictures? i know you probably dont want to show them to anyone but there has got to be something someone can do to get that horrible plastic surgeon off the market! I am so sorry for your disappointment.. I can honestly relate and I too have had 2 surgries to correct my implants and I now believe it's time to look into a lawyer cause it's not fair...

Thanks to all the sweet caring girls who are giving me support and advice. I have spent the day so far researching Drs. and Attys. It seems like no attorney wants to take cosmetic cases, no matter what the outcome was. They say its like an old boys club where the surgeons have each others back more than the patient who suffered the damage. And the attys. need another surgeon who does the same surgerys to testify against the one who did the damage. This is nearly impossible to get them to do. The laws protect the surgeons. I hope this will change someday, It's not right that the bad surgeons get to do what they want and the person who lives with the permant damage can't do a thing. I don't think you can even mention his name on a forum like because it may damage his reputation. Give me a break! After what this surgeon has done to me!!! Its so frustrating,I would like to tell the world, but I can't ???? I believe I have every right to be mad at him and the only thing I have the right to do is suffer. Not right, not right at all.
