Hey, hun I would love if I could send you a FR but I cant, maybe you can send one to me, I would love to be friends?? with that said, Honey I do understand your pain right now, I have been battling this capsular contracture for 2 1/2 years now, and I sometimes also sit on JBI obsessed about my outcome and if it can be fixed, I have been on numerous consults, and I finally found Dr.Revis and I hope he can help, but I am still taking a chance of getting CC this next time around he will not take my overs to unders being that my first plastic surgeon was too lazy to put them under and he filled to 600cc's so I am stretched beyond going under now....this is just a chance that I have to take, go willing everything will turn out ok....we have to look at the bright side, we have supportive husbands that accept us for who we are and not our boobs and just want us to be happy...boobs are just a beautiful feminine thing to have but we really do not need them, and we must not let it ruin our lives....I think you should go through with the revision, and pray to god he knows your heart, and your desires, sometimes we go through these trials to learn how to love our imperfections first to teach us to be humble, but you will have all the desires of your heart, do not beat yourself up, keep your faith, and do not explant, you will be ok honey! the best of luck to you, take care...and God Bless! xoxoxoxo

I'm really sorry you feel this way. I will join other ladies and say that they look great to me. With plastic surgery you can't expect perfection, you can only expect improvement. IMO they've improved a lot. Maybe there is another underlying issue and you try to blame your BA for it? Just some food for though. Have you considered going smaller and getting polyurethane coated implants? My plastic surgeon told me that there is a lesser chance of bottoming out with them because they tend to grip to the chest wall. He also said that anything above 400cc will have a greater risk. Good luck to you, honey! I hope it all works out for you and you won't feel horrible any more. |

Catnip, I am having a redo to go smaller plus having a benelli lift done. No bottoming out issues..I just hate the size of them. I seen 4 plastic surgeon and each had a different plan for me. One suggested that if I wanted to go a lot smaller, then he would use Alloderm or Strattice to reinforce the pocket. It is used to hold things like hernias. plastic surgeon use it in cases like yours where the revision doesn't want to hold, and it is supposed to work great w/very little chance of rejection (like near zero). So not having looked at your boobies, but just from what you are saying, I think you need to see a few different plastic surgeon and get their take on it. It could dramatically change your opinion of them and what to do. I used the same plastic surgeon twice and said NO MORE! I found a plastic surgeon who specializes in revisions and reconstructions just for the fact that my tissues are stretched due to big implants and I want to get it right this 3rd time!! Honey please don't make yourself miserable. Concentrate on the positives in your life. You CAN be fixed. If your tissues were that thin, your implant would be falling out IMO! Find a different plastic surgeon and go from there; I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!! |

I know how you feel in a way, we havent been through the exact same stuff but both us of have had problems and we are not satisfied with our results. . . mine are not even either and I feel the same way- if I go back to get them evened up will I just end up with more problems? Can I even emotionally handle another surgery right now? I know you have been through a lot too and I really feel for you . . . I do agree with the others though I think you look good, not 100% equal no but still good. For me it helps to tell myself they are never ever going to be 100% the same and I have to stop expecting it, and that this is the best out come I could get based on my problems and I should be happy that I have this much. I explanted and I tried for two years to cope with it, and in the end I ended up getting implants again. Some people explant and are so happy with it though, it really is just a personal decision. I have a picture of my explant in my photo album. . . I know our situations are different and I was only 20 at the time of my explant but it really wasnt as bad as I thought it would look. ooh and I just wanted to add- for two months after my repair i was OBSESSED with my boobs and every day I was so depressed and would cry because they were so different and I hated them and I just hated myself for even doing this in the first place. . . and finally I just said enough is enough and I stopped getting on here and I just ignored everything about my boobs and pretended they were fine and wouldnt let myself think bad things. . . it took some time but it has helped me, I just kind of live in denial I guess but maybe it would help you to try to take a break from it all and not think about it for a couple month and decide then . . . I know thats harder said than done bc they are on your body and its hard to avoid them!! but it really did help me. |

Just know you are beautiful and those choices are yours to make. I think that they look good other than needing to fix the one side may make you feel better but IMO they and u are beautiful. I think each of us has to do what makes us feel great. I too had not liked my breasts, at times I wish they were either bigger or more upper fullness but I have come to terms that they are mine and I love them now. I hope you find what you are searching for. Best wishes darling! You deserve it.

to be honest with you i think your boobs look very natural on you, i've gone through 4 surgeries with my boobs and still very unhappy. i've learned to accept that they will never be perfect i am planning to have my 5th surgery this dec. 2009 and hopefully this will be my last. i'm only doing this because one of my boobs are significately bigger than the other like a cup size and it's noticeable in my shirts. if it was'nt for that i'd leave them alone.

My plans are to go a little bit bigger 750cc. Hopefully, this won't be too big, saving up my money now. i have been married to my best friend for 8 years and i have a 6 year old daughter. |

Awww, hun, I know you have been though it with your boobs. I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. I honestly think you look great! I can see that there is a difference in size, but you have great shape and they are beautiful. Having said that, I still think you should go ahead and give Dr. C's office a call. I question whether or not the plastic surgeon who told you not to even think about going out of state was just trying to get your business. Dr. C has a ton of out of town patients. He is an amazing surgeon and I know he'd be able to help you out. Have you seen his corrective work on his site? Amazing! Whatever you end up deciding, I wish you all the best and I am certainly here for you if you need to talk, vent, cry, whatever. (((HUGS))) hun! |

Hi There. I'm with everyone else in expressing my sympathy and well wishes for you! I'm really sorry you are struggling with all this. I sent you a FR so I can take a look at your pics. It sounds like it may be a really good idea to visit more than one plastic surgeon! Hang in there sweetie! |

Well I have seen 4 plastic surgeon and I am just in a bad postion... The fact is I have nice looking boobs they are not as bad as I FEEL.... But one pocket is bigger and that boob is flatter and goes all the way into my arm pit..No matter what everyone tries to say it is noticible in a bathing suit... The fact is I feel so presured into getting a lift because of the bottoming out... I wish I had perfect results but I have to accept my less than perfect BA or Explant... Although I did not realize explant are not that popular at all My plastic surgeon has only done 3 in 15 yrs.. uggg I am really in a bad place..
