Unhappy I just felt something that concerns me -

Hi -
Tomorrow I am two weeks out. I was just in the shower and felt a something I had not felt before at the base or crease of my breast.

I am not sure if I can event explain it --- it almost feels like a vain, or a tendon... it is visible if I put my hand behind my head and arch backwards or tag a big breath and hold it with my diaphragm full.

Should I be worried? I have my second follow up on Thursday..

sounds like a mondor cord to me.. look under complications at the top and it will be in there.. they arent serious just a pain in the butt..and they clear on there own.. altho i think there are things that can be doen to aleviate the pain or discomfort.. HTH!

Definitely sounds like a Mondors Cord and if so - you don't need to be worried. It will go away on its own. If it is bothering you, pain meds can help. Hot compresses, also. (Just avoid your incisions with the heat.) Some plastic surgeon will advise massage on the sore area. Best to ask yours, to see what is advised.

I had these, also, one on each side. They went away on their own. No after affects. Not considered an actual complication, but more like a discomfort. I do not know what causes them in some and not others. Maybe inquire in the "Ask a plastic surgeon" forum.

Wow, I have the same thing in the bottom inside crease, and I thought that it was rippling, or the implant 'popping out' of the crease. I hope that it really is this.
Mine feels like a small bubble, but is not painful. It is in a little bit of a line tho, so maybe it is this cord thing. I always thought that mondor' cord would be higher up on the breast more like a big vain??
Fingers crossed this is what it is!!

Google images of it thats what I did when I freaked out.... but mind you the pics on the net are of much more severe cases than I had.

Mine looked much worse when I put my arms above my head and stretched... I spose you could try that in front of the mirror to see if you can see it better.

It was kinda centre of the under boob
