I just went in for my 6 weeks and although everything looks good he said I need to be able to move my implant all the way till it touches my collorbone....I can only get it about an inch or two away from it. I could not help myself but kept cussing right in his face as he forced it up there....it hurt SO bad. I have been moving them religiously but I guess not far enough. He said it will help my breasts feel softer. They don't feel hard but not natural soft yet. I REALLY hope it will stop being so painful and I hope I can get over the fear of popping them!!!

Ok wonderful ladies of JBI, I have been lurking on here for a long time and finally have set the date January 11th. At first I was dead set on silicone, but after much reading I am concidering changing my mind to saline. I just wonder how you weighed the risks of each and what made you decide. I am very muscular and small on top (wear padded 34A but mostly don"t fill) I am 125 lbs and 5'6. My surgeon said unders definately because of build.
Thanks so much!!! By the way I am totally starting to freak myself out. Especially the more I research. UUUGGGHHH

I'm 2 weeks out today...cant believe it! I tried on a 34 D (my friends bra) and its too small! I'm really excited...lefty still needs to drop, but they are full and VERY bouncy! Surprising at 2 weeks right? Righty is softer and bouncier than lefty though. I think the results look pretty natural, which is what I wanted. Felt great though, yesterday I wore a fitted shirt and no bra....my girlfriend saw my results and wants a boob job now...she couldnt stop talking about them yesterday. Was nice to hear, since I've had some boobie blues!

I had my BA 2 days ago. Yesterday my dr. said I can go bra less if I want, just no underwire for a month. Basically they said anything that feels good I can do (ice, massage, compression...) I was so excited, I shed the sports bra immediately... yea, i regretted that last night! :rotfl:

I put the sports bra back on and now I have on a pretty tight tank top on over that (it was tight pre-BA). Its pretty tight compression and I *think* its helping... i can't tell... :wideeyed:

Does anyone know if pressure is a good thing???

Thanks!

Hi Dr. Chris. Hope this post finds you doing well. Wanted to touch base with you. I'm about 9 weeks PO revision. About a week ago it looks like maybe righty is trying to creep up again. Occasionally I wear my strap and when I wear it over night it appears to be positioned correctly in the morning. It's soft but slightly uneven. I can deal with it like this but what can I do to keep it in this position and why in the h*ll does t want to creep up?? It's not a CC, even though there was a CC on that side, a severe one at that...you already know. I know occasionally I have an achey feeling but may be from massaging aggressively?? I have kept paper tape on the right scar too trying to flatten it out. Massaging it isn't working and its puckering inward more and more each day. I haven't looked at it since I put the tape on about 2-3 weeks ago. Is the tape ok, think it will help???

I tried emailing you but something is wrong...not sure if it's on my end or yours....Thanks!!

Well it's been one month post op for me and as hard as I am trying to be patient and learn to love this new size I have to say that so far I am not.

I feel like everyone is looking at the size of my chest. I decided to have implants in the first place to be more confident with myself and in the beginning (with the smaller size) I was extremely HAPPY Unfortunetly I had a complication of "bottoming out" and with the redo decided to go a bit larger

Well this "bit" seems to be a bit too much. Now that the pocket is healed and internal stitches have been put in the complication seems to be solved.

But with that and the new size gone is my confidence.
I am so confused on what to do
On the one hand the easy solution is to keep what I have and learn to love them. (DH sure does)

But I am SOOO self conscience now

HELP????

Hey ladies! So my plastic surgeon mentioned to me that he does not encourage post-op massaging, but does have you wear the band to bring the girls down. I'm a LITTLE concerned because it seems like everywhere I look, everyone is talking about the importance of massaging to get the girls to drop and avoid CC. My plastic surgeon says there is just no need to massage. Anyone else have their plastic surgeon tell them this? Not sure if I should just massage anyway??? Help! I really don't want to end up with a CC, but am afraid to do anything that is against what my plastic surgeon suggests... :err:

I can't go a day without checking out this site. I am going to go crazy until my BA in January. I just keep checking out results to make sure I have picked the right size. I am fine with all my other choices but I am going back and forth on size. I don't want to go to big or too small. I was happy with plastic surgeon's suggestion of 400, but when I tried on rice sizers, hubby likes 450. I like them too, I just really want the slope and not the rounded top effect. Ughh, why is this so hard?!!! I keep looking at other women to see if I like how they look and try to guess their size. And checking out results of you ladies who have similar stats here on JBI. My hubby keeps pointing out what he thinks would look good on me. (For once in my life I am actually okay with him checking out boobies, because I know now that he is visually trying them on me.) :boobs:

I had my first consult 2 weeks ago, did my sizing on Thursday, and I'm getting my BA on December 4. Allergan HP 550cc unders. I'm so excited! I'm 23 years old and have literally wanted this since puberty, as i've always been a bigger girl but had abnormally small breasts. I am so anxious to finally look/feel like a grown woman!! I just added pre-ba pics and a couple with my sizers.

I had my ba on the 12th, and per my docs request I have to wear the surgical bra and strap for a month. My boyfriend is going to be taking me out to medievil times this weekend on a date. And I really don't want to go looking like I have this big strap on my chest :( I tried hiding it but its hard and bulky. Now I'm able to take it off each day of course to shower and do my little massages. Keeping that in mind do you think that I would be able to buy a sports bra wear it just for the dinner then change right back into the surgical after. I really don't want to mess up my 6000 dollar investment just so I wont look like a dork. I guess I could always just wear a hoodie :( But I wanted to look nice for him.
