hello everyone again :D

I asked a few plastic surgeon online their opinions on if the periareolar Mastopexy is a good options for me and all have said yes but two have mentioned some things that make me go hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I have not seen this on anyone yet but have to ask.

1- flatted boobs on the front and larger nipples (my plastic surgeon said he puts in perm. sutures to stop that) Does anyone have this?

2- an areola that has a sunburst pattern to it...I thought this puckering went away. Maybe this plastic surgeon just isn't skilled??? BUT she also said

"By definition a Benelli lift results in a peri-areolar scar. The resulting scar can be of a poor quality, with a "sunburst" pattern. In patients who will have a sunburst scar, I ask them to choose between this and adding a vertical scar, which will eliminate the sunburst. Ask your surgeon about this. If he/she closes your skin and you do not have a sunburst, great. If you do, decide ahead of time what you what your surgeon to do. In your case, the breast tissue in the bottom half of the breast needs to be lifted and fixed at a higher position. This is important for you. You can have a peri-areolar scar with the internal breast shaping work done through this incision. Be sure to clarify with your surgeon what is going to be done to the breast tissue in order to lift it. Otherwise, over time, your breast tissue can "hang" off the edge of the implant."

Does that makes sense? Have you seen that before?

Thanks everyone....

Hi Ladies,

I had my surgery yesterday. We decided to go with a benelli areolar reduction and a lollopop lift.(the vertical incision is only halfway to my crease)

With the gauze and tape on they look really perky. :happydance:

I'm excited and a little scared to see what my nipples look like.

He told me he had to make my right side a little tighter, because of the excess sag around the nipple. I haven't taken the gauze off yet, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this done, and what to expect as far as look and size.

Maybe some of you ladies who are considering a lift would be interested in the example photos I took in to my plastic surgeon.

Printed these and gave them to him (he asked if he could have them)

I didn't go into my procedure with expectations that were unrealistic and I think that has helped me a great deal. I needed to see some examples of women who had similar breasts before and with "afters" that I liked and thought would be reasonable expectations.

Have a look and hope this helps...
The album is the one with a turtle on it *wink*

Hi everyone! I just found this awesome website and was hoping to see others with same body type to compare sizing. I have three kids and I breastfed all of them and I have lost 26 lbs over the last 2 years. So I went from 34DD to empty 34c with so much skin I still have to buy 34DD bras :(

So I am scheduled for Nov 30 and would love to make some JBI friends!

I dont know how big I will go, the Dr said 450cc would be a small D on me? That sounds huge!

I am 5'2 - 124 lbs (still trying to lose 10 lbs) and my measurements are 34-27-36 - yes I have a big butt ;)

Hi all,
So I explained to my Doctor just exactly what I wanted. I even showed him pictures. BIG/FULL/ROUND and actually prefer the fake look hehe. I have 34d (saggy) so, of course, I'm having a BA/BL. We agreed on 420 cc but the lift is still up in the air. I would love to just do the areolar lift without the lollipop lift because of the scarring. He said he would determine it on the "table" if I needed the extra lift to get the look I really want.

My question is would you completely trust your Doctor on the final results, waking up not knowing exactly what to find under the bandage! kinda freaking out!
