Hi...short all in all......... had a BA with Benelli lift done over the muscle 450cc HP silicone... 8 months later my elasticity gave and i stretched out and there was enough room to move the implant around freely that when i would bend over etc i caused it to flip over....granted at the time this occurred we were getting ready to do a Military move... plastic surgeon felt a would need a full lift but because of my time crunch i had to recover we chose to do inoffice benelli lift redo ( which she did free ) I wear a bra 24/7 a push up , full cup etc during the day and a sports bra at night

Now exactly 2 months my right side has done it again... it is frustrating!! i have lost elasticity yet again and have enough room for it to flip over.. I bent over to get something and i was undressed and noticed it flipped so i now jus flip it back...

Do i live like this?? I have talked to my plastic surgeon concerning if she made my pockets too big etc and she insists she didnt.. who knows.. What would u reccomend in my situation?

Thanks!

Hi,
I recently had a BA: 650cc silicone overs. My left breast is gorgeous; round smooth...beautiful. Unfortunately, my right breast has one large ripple/wrinkle on top right at my cleavage area. My plastic surgeon said he could do fat injections to the ripple. When I had my BA I also had a small amount (very minimal) of fat injections to my lips. So, I am aware of the process and recovery (they are swollen and then reduce in size). Is this something you do (fat injections for ripples)? How is it done? ie; over fill the ripple area with the fat? Does it take more than one fat injection? Does it cause the skin to lift? (like a thin pencil is under the skin)? The ripple is not noticeable when standing still and very straight with shoulders back...otherwise it is VERY noticeable (basically all the time).
Thank you for your time,

Hi,

I have had CC twice now first on left and now on right (had them taken out and redone) and this time it isnt really visable to people in my clothes yet but feels like I am laying on a tennis ball if I try and lay on my front, also I have a general tight feeling and a few random sharp pains.

Do I try again another time and hope it will not come back (first time after 4 years and this time after 2 weeks) or do I have them taken out and go back to very unconfidant flat chested person? If I have them out will I need an uplift? I was a 34a before and now 34c/d had 375overs and 300 unders last time?

I really cant go through this continuously but dont want to have even worsely scarred breasts if I have to have an uplift.

Do uplift scars fade and would I lose any of my minimal tissue that I had before?

I cant see my surgeon as she is in Thailand,

Thanks in advance,

I am 5'1", 105 lbs. My plastic surgeon put in 325cc Mentor mod profile. They are so wide and tall on me. Apparently mods aren't used very often by other surgeons because they are so wide? I called his office today to see what my breast width was pre-ba and the office assistant said that she doesn't think that he takes that measurement! My question is: Is measuring the breast width and staying within that for implants a standard practice or do most surgeons just "eyeball it"? What has your experience been with other colleagues and how they practice? I'm so frustrated because this is a very highly credited plastic surgeon.

Hello,

I had a BA on 11/6 and was given IV antibiotics as well as 3 days of erythromycin post op. I must admit, 3 days didnt seem like much. Now, I've been diagnosed with an infection in my left breast, drainage, pain, fever, etc. Now, I'm on Levaquin while I await a culture. In your experience, have you successfully treated infection with antibiotics rather than additional surgery? Or have ever had to go directly back to the OR for drainage or removal?
I really appreciate your time and any information you may be able to provide.
I am also having an anchor lift and decided on 250cc, I am fairly thin and really was going for a very natural look and am worried now about ridges or unatural look with over the muscle. How much permament restriction is there to the muscle wall to effect my arm movement in sports? Thanks so much for your opinion, my surgery is scheduled in 3 weeks.

Hello Dr. Sorokin,

I'm currently undecided between 2 doctors. I had a full anchor breast lift with saline implants placed over the muscle 11 yrs ago. I had a child 6 yrs ago and my breast have now sagged again. I have seen a few doctors and they all suggested re-doing the mastopexy to give my breast the perkiness I want and to correct my scars which are still pretty visible. Also, to place larger silicone implants behind the muscle since I would like to go slightly bigger.

My question is that 2 of the doctors advised me that they can re-do the lift without the need of fully re-opening that large incision at the bottom of my breast, just by opening it about 3 inches. There is one doctor that says he has to fully re-open that incision to be able to take off all the old scar tissue from around the scar. Any of this makes sense? your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I have seen you in person after my orginal BA in May I believe... I have since then had a revision to my right side with perminant sutures.. It did not hold.
my pockets seem really big now and I guess I have bottomed out agian... If I want to correct this and GO SMALLER what could we do to prevent my pockets from stretching agian after a smaller implant??? I have had you and my doc say Lift and 2 other say no lift.. Would you suggest a lollipop or a vertical at this point ??? Would you also suggerst dermal replacement or do you think the size decrease is enough...
I am trying really hard to educate my self so I don't have to enter any more surgeries after my 3rd for a long time... I am in pain on my right side were I have the bottom out so that makes me really want to address this sooner than later..

Made my pics public

Good afternoon Dr. Sorokin,

I was wondering what your opinion was on the "pencil test", where a breast is considered saggy if you are able to hold a pencil in your crease and have it stay once your hands are no longer supporting it.

I ask this because I had a breast augmentation in March 2008 (480cc saline, smooth/round, complete submuscular). My left breast dropped much quicker than my right, the implant is much more palpable, and rippling is very visible on the outside edge. In my opinion, it does not have a nice shape and does not sit high enough on my chest. I am able to hold a few pencils in my crease! LOL! My plastic surgeon is 6 hours away and we have communicated through email, but through the pics I have sent him, he seems to see no problem. My right has never dropped completely, and all that he suggests is lowering that one to match the left. My suggestion of a lift was disregarded.

I visited another surgeon about 3 hours away, who suggested a full anchor lift on both of my breasts to get them how I'd prefer them. I'd just like to have a nice slope that doesn't start INCHES down from my armpit, and a roundness to the bottom of the breast, so I can go braless if I'd like without looking like I need support.

I have included a few photos if you wouldn't mind taking a look, as your opinion would be very much appreciated. Thanks for your time!

Can you please help me?

I have a full A small B on the left and a small A on the right and will be getting 250cc and 350cc respectively to fix the asymmetry.. Because of the difference in size my left nipple also falls about 2cm lower than my right. My plastic surgeon said he could do a mini-lift which would just essentially move my nipple up to match the right but said it is not truly a lift and isnt necessary but would be cosmetic if the nipple differences bothered me. But later he sent me a note thanking me for coming for the consult etc. and said that while the mini lift was not necessary it may help fix the asymmetry I have... Do you think he was referring merely to nipple placement and not breast size??

I dont really want to pay more for the mini lift if the only difference it will make is nipple placement cause no one but me and my husband sees my nipples and neither of us really care but now I am worried it will affect more than just nipple placement....

Can you explain this please?

One says, they may pop out, but looking at them, he doubts it and is willing to do it at the same time. And one of the surgeons says it's not safe to do it at the same time. What is your view on this?
