Pregnancy after BA

Hi ladies. I am thinking that I am possibly pregnant. When I had my ba, I thought I was done with having children. This is sort of a pleasant surprise, but I am a little worried about my breasts with pregnancy and breastfeeding. How many ladies here had babies after your BA and could you successfully breastfeed with an areolar incision? What did your breasts look like after pregnancy and childbirth? I hope that doesn't sound selfish of me, I was just wanted to know what to expect.
Like I said, I don't know for sure if I am or not yet, but I just wanted to bounce the idea off of you all.

I have not had my BA yet and have no children. BUT I do plan on having children in the future and breat feeding is important to me. My PS has told me that a BA will NOT effect breat feeding and should have minimal effect on the implant.

Congratulations!!!
Pamela Anderson breast fed both her boys. If she can you can!
If it was me, I would do a little online research. I always do that when I want answers ASAP. I'm sure no matter what everything will work out just fine.

as to implant effect i posted quite a full reply to this in the newby forum in caro's thread,
all i can extend to this is,
crease, armpit, transax incision very rarely effect breast feeding but sometimes a nipple incision can,its not a foregone conclusion that it will only a possibilty.

and of course i truely hope that whatever you want and hopefor turns out to be the result congrats if there warrented

Thanks ladies for the replies. I know that the implants themselves won't distort, I was just wondering how many of you ended up having another surgery afterwards due to sagging?
I guess I will just wait and see what the results are in about a week or so. My boobs are sooo sore that they hurt if you look at them and that never happens before my period. Not to mention, my eye is twitching, which sounds crazy, but is another sign of me being pregnant.
Thanks for the advice, as always

Hi Tracey!

I haven't had my BA yet but I told my PS that I have a 3 year old daughter and right now I don't want a baby but like in 5 years I want to have another one. I picked the crease incision. He is a fan of the nipple one but not that great for breastfeeding.

I think the best thing will be for u to call ur doctor. About how ur boobs will look after having more kids I think they will look the same. That's what I've heard.

That's weird about the eye twitching! Hopefully I am not pregnant too,my eye was twitching yesterday. sorry if my spelling is wrong. I am kinda tired.

Good luck w ur research,sorry if I wasn't a good help.

I found out I was pregnant when Iwas already 6 weeks into it. I am now on my 11th week and I had my BA just a little over 3 years ago June3rd 2003. (Ironically June 3rd is my due date!! haha, baby and boobie birthday). Anyway I keep imagining this horrible thing happening that after all logical thought and due to gravity Im afraid is possible. I keep envisioning two horizontal Ice cream cones melting, the saggy natural tissue drapping over the perky round implant due to the stretching and deflation of engorgement and then expelling of the breats milk. I want to breast feed but is another ba to correct the after look of this in my near future. I dont think I can afford it any time soon and I am afraid. I hate to sound vaine but they cost me a pretty penny and I'd like them to stay as nice as they are now.
