What did you wear on the day of surgery?

Post here and tell us what you wore on the day of surgery. I'll start first.

First surgery (Nov. 2000) - Sweatpants and a zip up hoodie.

Second surgery (June 2001) - Shorts and a T-SHIRT (BIG NO-NO!)

Third surgery (June 2002) - Shorts and a BUTTON UP shirt.

For my surgery next month, I'd actually like to wear pajamas, lol.

Did all of you ladies that have responded so far have surgery in the fall/winter? I notice that a lot of you wore track suits with zip up hoodies. I'm thinking about wearing shorts and a zip hoodie, but that just seems sooo hot for June!!!

I wore zip up sweatshirt, (super light-weight kind from GAP) and sweatpants. My surgery was in June too, and I live in south Florida, so pretty toasty here too! But it was freezing in the recovery room, so I was ok! Then I just changed into a strapless (Velcro in front) terrycloth short robe when I got home.

I am in Florida and it was november but it was kinda breezy also very early in the morning...I was staying in a villa (so nobody saw me) and I wore a t-shirt with pj pants and a little zip-up jacket on top. When I woke up after surgery I had the jacket on with the surgical bra,no t-shirt.

Ivy what happened when you wore your tshirt???? OMG that is so funny! Did they just send you home in the pretty scrubs? Anyway, my surgery is in a couple weeks and I'll probably wear some cute comfy pajama shorts and a cute short sleeved hoodie I found at Target. Can't wait!

I bought myself some lightweight cotton lounge pants at Old Navy. That and a hoodie. Even though it's warm here now, I always hear people saying that they are really cold after surgery (any surgery)...oh and flip flops.

That wasn't Ivy, that was me, lol. I went home in my tshirt, but it was NOT fun putting that thing on over my head after just having surgery. I will NEVER make that mistake again!

Thanks for your post. I went to Gap's website and ordered me a shortsleeve zip-up hoodie. I was looking for a short-sleeved zip-up hoodie about a month ago and couldn't find one anywhere! At least I don't have to worry about that now. Thank you!!!

My breast augmentation was in Feb. It was freezing cold!! I wore pull-on pants and a velour zip-up top. Warm socks and slip-on shoes. Plus a winter coat, hat, and gloves. BRRR!
