Red face Does massage encourage fluffing?

Does anyone know if massaging encourages fluffing?

I havent been told to massage my implants, I havent heard of it as much in the UK but wondered if its speeds up fluffing (if there is any to be done)?

Cheers!! x

Check with your PS. Some doctors prefer that you don’t massage but for the one’s that do it helped me tremendously.

I was told to massage, and to keep my pockets open cleavage side and the outer side, i believe it's this what helped mine relax more and spread a little...maybe that's why i lost some projection im not sure, but only massage if you are told to...i had to pinch mine up til 8 weeks, then the massage started and pocket opening started

When I have mine done the PS told me to massage because it helps with scar tissue NOT forming. Something I DON'T want to happen.

Yesterday at my Post OP I was told to gently massage by pushing in on the outside of the breast and up from the bottom of the breast, 10 times each day.

I hope it encourages dropping and fluffing. I was told to do it 3x a day for 2 minutes each but i've been doing it like 6 times a day. When I went to my 1st post op visit to learn how to massage, the doctor squeezed so hard that I heard a gurgling sound lol

Talking Hahaha

My PS sqeezes them unbelievably hard as well he tells me, "Don't worry you wont hurt them you HAVE to massage hard" I even told my bf apparently he wasn't doing it hard enough oh how he LOVED that one hahaha. Anyways, my PS told me to massage 2x/day for 5minutes at a time. He said it helps keep scar tissue down to none, keep the pockets open, and encourages d&f however, that is his personal opinion. I can tell however, that it has helped me to soften up quite a bit more on the R than the L so now I massage the L 3x a day to try to get it to catch up! He has my take my hands hold the two sides of my boobs with fingers pointing straigh out and push them together as hard as I can for 30 seconds. Then take the tops of my boobs and squeeze them really hard seeing the implant move at the bottom for 30 seconds. I just do these two keep rotating til my 5 minutes are up! It was very rough and uncomfortable at first, but I kind of am starting to like NOW!!!

My PS never told me to massage and I D&F'd just fine. The jury is still out on whether it does any good or not.

my PS told me to massage because it helps the implant move around the pocket easily.
