Cool im new and getting my new girls this tuesday! question about placement!

Im getting my new boobs this tuesday! (which is valentines day here in brazil) thought that was a cute choice of date. and i wanted to know the biggest difference between under/over. Im getting a breast lift and 210 cc implants. maybe larger not sure. i already have boobs. (b to large b) and i heard some mixed feelings about over/under. i heard both can cause sagging depending on how much breast tissue you already have. im calling my ps on monday and confirming all the information about the implant which i can share later.

Biabia, there's a great thread in the "Ask a plastic surgeon" forum where this question has been answered by both forum girls and a board qualified PS. While I, personally, was all about going under (as I believe it looks more natural and there's less of a possibility of bottoming-out), the surgeon on here says there's really not that much of a difference.

You should go check that one, though, as it may help you quite a bit.

to the forum!!
If you go under the muscle it acts as an internal bra, so you are less likely to sag overtime.
Also, there is less of a chance of developing capsular contracture if you go under the muscle.
It all depends on your needs and only your ps know them.
Talk to him, he should guide you in the right direction for you.

goodluk on tuesday, mine is a day after yours!

i was convinced that i wanted under the muscle until my PS surgeon told me very confidently that i should do overs. these were his reasons, so see if they apply to you

1- he showed videos of post BA unders.
the women flexed their arms and their chest would move with it. kinda looked freaky, but im sure it was an extreme case wich he showed

2-if you are not completely flat, then u may have enuf tissue to hide the overs.

3- if you are more physically active, overs may be the better choice.

4-recovery is easier with overs, altho the actual surgical procedure is harder for overs

he did not tell me however that i may not be able to identify early signs of breast cancer, with an over.

all the best in ur decision

good luck and All I know is since you have boobs already you could probably pull off overs, which is an easier recovery. talk to your ps about it, he/she will tell you what he/she thinks would be ideal for your lifestyle and body type.
