Saline implants make water noise???

I'm planning on getting saline implants but I've heard that they sometimes make water noises which can be a little embarrassing..?
Pros and cons of saline implants?

Ladies, if you don't mind sharing your stories, they'd be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm...don't think that's true. I have saline, I'm still early post op but I have never heard water noises. Mine are getting softer everyday. I love them! I just love having boobies period, I wouldn't care if I had to put bowling balls in there jk but I really do like the saline and the only noises i heard were when I first had surgery and they were settling in. it wasnt the implant making noises it was the fluids that you have inside after surgery. HTH

I agree with Brit. I haven't heard anything and I'm 7 1/2 weeks out. Mine are very soft, feel natural. I had mine overfilled from 425 to 450 so maybe that helps? I returned to er..physical activities with my dh several days post and no problems. He loves them!

I liked the smaller incision, ability to overfill and adjust for size difference if needed, knowing if I had a leak, ability to get the look I wanted, love my ps ( who only does saline vs other ones in area who do both)... Love em! Hth!

Mine don't!!! This is like an urban myth of breast implants. I never met anyone with sloshing saline implants. Even if you go with the lowest fill volume there no air in there, the bag is pretty full so I'm not sure how it would slosh!

Mine made a noice in the beginning. No one could hear it, I just noticed it. It probably lasted about two weeks or maybe a tad longer. It does not do it anymore. It was barely a concern. But when I got my second BA, I got saline again and it did not do it. The first time I had Mentor and this time I have allergan. Idk if that made a difference or not. It was seriously no biggie!

No Noises Here! I love my saline implants! I don't know if I would ever change to silicone anytime either!
They gave me the shape (round, perky)that I wanted, gave me lots of upper pole fullness. I like the fact that I will be able to tell if I have a leak, and that I don't have to get any of the mammogram/mri testing every few years!
They are starting to really soft and feel pretty natural to me, but I did have decent natural breast tissue to begin with!
Good luck!

Never have I heard sloshing sounds in over 4 years! LOL! Right after surgery, it's possible to have general swelling from fluid build-up. As that fluid around the implant moves, some women can hear/feel that. I've read of boobs making burping sounds, farting sounds, swishing sounds, but it's not really the implant making those noises. It's the fluid in there (also causes post-op bloat) and it goes away in time. It can happen with saline or silicone. HTH.

The noises you hear in the beginning aren't the implants. It is fluid in your breast during the healing breast. There is no sloshing with saline implants. That is a myth.

totally not true. any noises heard would be early post op from swelling and that would be from any implant, saline or silicone.

Same here..I only heard noises in the first few days as the air and fluid in the pocket moved around...but that air and fluid gets absorbed eventually, and the noises go away...I must admit it was a little strange to hear farting noises from my boob! lol. As far as liking salines, I seem to be one of the few on here who don't. I don't like the way they feel at all....I have rippling, folds, and my right breast feels like it has a floppy baggy inside of it. But I have really thin skin, and had very little breast tissue to begin with, so that may be why they are more palpable on me. Also, my implants are not filled enough...especially the right one that feels the worst was only filled to the bottom of the fill range. I am considering a redo and will be switching to silicone. It really sucks that they feel so awful, because I like the overall shape and appearane....I had mod+, so they have nice projection, and I have good upper pole fullness....

I asked ps about this last week because I am still considering saline. I was told that both implant types can make noises in the beginning but it should go away.

Just about 8 months here and no sloshing noises either. It just may be a recovery issue like the other ladies have said.

hi! alot of my girlfriends have saline and said they have never heard a "water noise." although, on one of the consults i went to, the PS said it is possible, although very rare, to hear some water noises if you are like running or jumping up and down alot.

when I had salines, I had sloshing noise but it was from the fluid build up like the other girls said on here. It goes away in a couple weeks.

Ahh that makes sense. I have some of the fluid feeling 7 days PO. They are so new to me that I'm not really sure what to expect.
