Unhappy I am depressed now!

Why of all times did I lose my job today? I was laid off! Now I'm worried about getting the implants. With out a job now I don't know if I can get financed. I don't want to lie! I don't have bad credit but how am I to tell them that I'll pay out of the money I have without a job! I just don't know what to do.

I was hoping to get my breast augmentation in August. My consult is a lil over a week from now.

I'm so sorry to hear about your bad news. It's hard to wait for something that you really want. Hopefully you will be able to find another job soon and be able to get your loan. I wouldn't even try to get the loan without a job. You won't need that extra financial stress. Try to be patient. Your time for boobies will come.

First, i am sorry you've been laid off. I agree with Freakylizard though that you should focus on getting another job and then go from there with a loan. I know it's hard to be patient but you don't need to be putting all of this stress on yourself at once to get breast augmentation sooner. It's not good for the mind or body (think healing). Also- you can take advantage of a little extra time to continue to soak up as much info. as possible (there's always more to learn). We're here for you!

Priorities...

Hey there, I am so sorry you lost your job... That really sucks, and its horrible timing. BUT, sh*t happens... It sucks, but you've got to focus on what's really important here 1st and foremost. I would say... hold of on your breast augmentation. Until you know you can afford it. Otherwise you are just gonna be worse off than ever before... especially when you plan to finance these babies. I waited SO many years until I finally knew I was financially stable enough to go through with it.
Good luck to you and your decision...

is it possible you could get another job pretty quickly? I would apply to jobs like crazy or even take on something part time in the meantime. Which field do you work in?

Financing

I am an at home mom and have not worked for a long time and was very surprised to get financed I couldn't believe it. If you REALLY want to go ahead with financing then you can PM me for the number and company that financed me. I'm not sure if I am allowed to post phone numbers and such on the site.

Are you married? Your husband could get a loan for you. That's what I did because I'm a stay at home mom. Or you can even put it on a low interest credit card.

I know u don't want to hear this now but I am a strong believer that things happen for a reason. U never know what was going to go bad and God prevented that from happenning. Take things calmly and just think about it this way, it will give u time to know exactly what u want. I am sorry to hear about your job but honestly when one door closes, 10 more open u will c. Good luck!!

This is exactly what I was going to say.......... There is a different plan for you! Good luck job hunting! If you have experience with money from working at the bank maybe you could go apply at some of the casinos!?!?!?! just an idea...... I have to come to Shreveport next week......

Trust me, I feel your pain. I have been waiting for breast augmentation for over five years now (DH swears it's closer to 10) and most of the reasons it has been postponed have been job-related. I have the same advice as everyone else - I know it sucks, but postpone the surgery until you feel/are financially stable. Hopefully that comes sooner rather than later! I just wanted to assure you that you are not alone.
BTW, my breast augmentation that I was hoping to have this year may be put off AGAIN because of a job (at least this time it is my husband's job and not mine!!!)
