Who had to go braless right after???
ladies! So I know I have to listen to my Doc and go braless. He told me after 24 hours after my BA and after he took off the bandages I would have to go braless..... So now it is day 4 and they hurt when I walk around. I want to stay a bit active and take walks but it kills .... Did any of you girls have this and what did you do to make them not so tender....? I seriously don't know how much longer I can go braless for....

Wish i could help. I have been in a bra for 6 months, and looks like it again. I was told to wear a sports bra...
How about a cami with a shelf bra?? Call him and ask..

yah, my doc said no bras either but when i told him i wasn't comfortable running around in public without a bra (actually not really even in private!) he said i could wear a cami with a shelf bra but no actual bras....funny how some docs want you in one 24/7....

Mine told me I didn't need to wear a bra but camis are fine (i asked)- i don't really like the feel of bra or sport bra anyway. They are starting to feel heavier though so i'll be ready soon!
For the discomfort - you are early so try to take it as easy as possible- walk slow and try not to bounce too much (this is what helps me- still b/c i'm not wearing very supportive camis).

Thanks so much girls! It has just been a bit weird. I have waited for the day to go braless and now I feel funny too... haha. I am just going to start wearing the camisole with the built in bra.... I hope it makes them feell better. It is just hard because I got the trans ax so I am afraid to rip it open! YIKES!

every ps is different, i have heard of this many times... also, i think you're way too early to be worrying about cc, if you start getting redish on your boobs WITH the warmness, call the ps. I'm sure you're fine though.

I am supposed to be braless too. I wear shelf camis around the house because my hubby has a garage and there is always someone hear in the evenings working so I hate being braless. PS did say I could wear one for a short time to go out to dinner or whatever. But until today I did not even have one that was the right size. I'm a D and was wearing a C cup (an old bra I found when I was pregnant cause I was a B pre BA) so I have been sore by the time I took it off. I am 11 days PO. When I was a b cup I did not pay attentio to not wearing a bra, now I am self consious about it.

I only wish I could go braless. I have been given a strap bra (It has no front to it) that I have to wear for 3 weeks 24/7 except when I have a shower..I love my shower time. This frickin bra strap is soooo tight around my chest, but the doc insists it will help keep the impant shape underneath because I think he had to lower my creases a tiny bit. The things we put up with to have lovely boobies.
Good luck and I hope you dont have too much pain. |
