Water Weight/ Implant Weight/ Look Fat?

I am super stressed about my new big girls making me look fat. I lost about 60lbs this year and actually look great for once, and now these boobs being put back on, I feel like I look fat all over again.

I am 5'5 126 today. I was 122 last week before surgury. Do you think I am just holding onto a lot of water or could these implants really weigh 4lbs?

I got 421 CC's Silicone.

Did anyone feel like they began to look fatter with their implants on?

Stressed

I don't feel fat from my implants, but the water weight, bloating and swelling post-op made me very uncomfortable and gross for about a little over a week. Hang in there... the water weight will eventually get out of the system. Cut down on the salt.

We are nearly identical in stats... I've heard of many women gaining 10+ lbs after surgery from water weight and evenually loosing it...

I know my weight fluctuates around 3lbs a day, so dont stress too much girl

Congrats on your new girls!

omg LilyRose, we are! wow. Have you always been thin? I got to 174 last year. I have 3 kids. I havent been this skinny since High school. I love it. I know alot of my weight loss came from my boobs and chest area. Thats the thinnest part on me, but now with these back on, lol. I feel like I look 170 again! My goal is to get to 115. I think that would look great on me!

When was your surgery? I am 1 week post op today.

My surgery is next week actually!

And in this last year I've lost about 25lbs.. I got pretty heavy last summer from enjoying myself a little too much with food and drinks with no exercise...

And dont you worry! I'm sure you dont look that heavy again at all! The swelling and water weight will go down in the next couple weeks and you'll feel a ton better...

I'm planning on going almost the same exact size depending on what my PS recommends (pre-op is this thursday) My ball park range is between 400-450cc's

I am one week post op too and have gained around 7 lbs over night lol, some water and some implant weight i guess. i have lost 4 so far from water, so hang in there it does come back off minus the implant weight. i have been very careful about my salt intake as well.

425 CC weigh 14 oz each! Most of that weight is water weight from all of your prescriptions you have been on. I gained 7 pounds after surgery and it took a good 2 weeks to go back to normal!

i'm feeling the same but i don't think it's from my implants. they actually make my arms and tummy look smaller...but the bloating and all of that is awful. i hate it. i feel bigger and helpless and frustrated because i can't do anything about it until i'm healed. i hate feeling fat and i hate gaining weight. thankfully i no longer have a scale in the house, but i can tell i've gained probably 8-10 lbs since surgery. so so so stupid.

Yes darlin' you are retaining fluid. Don't worry, be happy!
This is one little "Pain In The Butt" that are part of the journey.
You'll probably be like me, as it sometimes takes a bit to adjust to
the new body. Healing is one of the first transitions.

I have lost weight since surgery in May, but the additions took a long time to
settle in (D&F) that I didn't feel fatter/ heavier. I also wore around rice sizers for a month
before surgery to adapt to a different body porportion.

You'll be great! Don't fret!!

Are you constipated? I heard people get that way from the pain killers. I didn't take the recommended amount (I think I took 8 vicodins in 4 days) and I drank lots of of freshly VITAMIX juiced veggies for the first 5 days and things worked fine like clockwork. Sorry, TMI!!!

Here is a link to a thread regarding weight of implants :
http://www.justbreastimplants.com/fo...-implants.html (Weight of implants)
The extra weight is bloating and water

Congrats!

Try drinking apple cider vinegar apparently it helps with decreasing water weight. Or have it with your salad. I don't think it is a good idea to drink it straight lol.

You look fine in your pix!! Not prego looking at all. Take some pro-biotics (I didn't but people swear by it) and drinks LOTS of water. It should help things along. Yeah, the swelling makes you feel icky, and to be constipated on top of that, oh boy!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

this page will tell you how much your actual implants weigh:

http://www.justbreastimplants.com/si...ant_weight.htm

beyond that, it's a combo of water weight and being constipated. I have gained like 10 points and am so depressed over it and all i want to do is run on the treadmill forever. be patient ... you'll lose it soon
