excited, scared, excite, scared...
Hi all,
Well, I am less then a month away now and some days I am fine and excited, then others I am soooooooo scared. I have a little bit of a cold right now and wake up with my throat soooo dry and think MAN, I'm gonna have to wait until 12 with NO water, how am I gonna do that? Mainly I try to keep myself calm and look at the facts, no one is that scared for me. My mom is only concerned with me having help with my little one year girl during the day 3 days after. My sister had hers done in June so she calms me down saying, oh, it'll be fine, it's easy (ha ha, she was so scared too, but only of the results, I'm not scared about that AT ALL, I'm going to DeWire, so what's there to worry about there.) and that it's scarier that my husband is in baghdad, Iraq.(hmm, now that's just not the best consulation there of course, but the suggestion does have merit, unfortunately) Anyway, I know it's now or never, I've committed myself, I just want the day to be here so I can get it over with. I just look at my kiddies and think about how it's selfish, but then think, well, it's selfish too to take them on the 6 hour ride to my mom's if I go that route right? It's more dangerous to do that. Aaah me, sorry this is so long, Thanks to all who read through it. Oh yeah, I'll also have pms when I get mine done, so that's another thing, I know I'll be at peak nervousness.

Sounds like your general fears are the same things we all go through (money, kids, anaesthetic etc etc) so completely normal.
I hope all's well with your husband and continues to stay that way!!! |

Everything will be fine. I have a 17 month old son. He has been my main concern through all of this as well. I have gone through the "its gonna hurt so bad! But I can take the meds....but if I take the meds I cant take care of Joshua" thoughts over and over. I have a really great friend who is going to help me whenever I need her. My PS also said that after a week I should be able to do stuff with him as long as it doesnt hurt. Joshua is really little, only 22 lbs. So, I figure after a week, I'll just suck it up and do it! I have the PS go-ahead. We are mommies after alll! We can do anything! Hahaha! Seriously though, good luck. Dont let yourself get to worried! (Like I can talk....Im freakin out!) Everything will be fine!~
