First day back to work was getting painful after about 2 hours, Igrabbed my gel freezer bag for my lunch and shoved it down my sports bra and that gave some relief but not for long.

Everyone liked my hair cut and noticed that instead of my boobs, finally told my boss today since I need to leave early next wenesday to go to a post op appt. She though it was great new boobs and a hair cut for vacation and gave me he ok to leave early.

I'm sitting here now with ice pack, took a pain pill aww it feels good to be home.

I have been home for almost 2 hours and I feel great. Hurts a little when taking deep breaths. The thing bothering me the most is my incisions. They burn! The doctor said everything went great because I'm young and healthy. No shower for 48hrs then I go for my first postop on Tuesday at 5:00! I can't believe how great I feel maybe because of pain meds (325mg percocet). I will keep you updated about my progress!!! If you are near the Philadelphia area, I highly recommend Dr. Mirabile in Blue Bell!!
congrats on the girls. have a safe and speedy recovery!

My big day was tomorrow but I got a phone call today, and was told they had to delay the surgery because of unmanageable circumstances. So I go on Friday March 23 at 13:30.

I agree with the not knowing what to expect, but I think it's better to over plan or stock up an then have a great recovery and not need any of it rather then hope your recovery wiil be easy and not plan and end up wishing you had of planned more.

Morning ladies! Day4 today, was zonked yesterday after my venture out the day before, drugs had really kicked in and I was off my face for majority of the day and did nothing but rest up on the couch. Paid off because today I have taken no pain mess and feel great. A bit muscle sore but just taking it easy, will see how long I can go before I need to take any. I popped a bikini top on to show a friend who came over and all I could say was Whoooohoooooo!!!!! she reckons they are just the right size, and front on they don't look fake and are a great size for my frame. I hope the swelling doesn't reduce the size down too much cose I am loving there size at the moment! So ladies, take your pain meds, chill out and you will bounce out of recovery so much easier. Rule is to take it easy.

On Day 4, my DH left me some glasses of water on the counter before he left for work because the Britta water pitcher was too heavy! We also re-filled small water bottles to keep bedside. The large SmartWater bottle felt too heavy in my first few days.

Good luck with surgery tomorrow!

Update.... I posted earlier about my surgery today around noon so I figured I would update on my progress. I have been laying on the couch on my wedge pillow using a neck travel pillow since I got home. Man do I feel good!! I took pain meds about 2 hours ago, not because I needed them but because the doctor told my mom I have to take the pain meds every 4-6 hours for the first day no matter what! I have not had any pain, just sore like I did bench presses. The only thing bothering me still is the incisions (under my boobs). There is gauze over the incisions but my mom thinks the bra is snug overtop of the gauze so I think that's why it burns. I am so glad I actually went through with it! The nurse told me I would feel 50% better tomorrow from what I feel today. Yay! Good luck to all the 22nd girlies! Hope everything goes as easy and smooth as mine has so far (knock on wood). Oh yea! I took about a 20 minute nap after I for home but other than that I have been WIDE AWAKE all day! I think my body has an opposite effect from anasthesia with not being tired at all. I have tried to nap but I'm too wide awake and can't make myself fall asleep even with taking the pain meds! Alright talk to all my other pre and post boobie girls tomorrow!!!

Good luck tomorrow! Make sure you wear a zipper top and easy to pull up pants! They made me pee before I left the surgical center, wearing pajama pants made it easy for the nurse to pull them up after that and when I got out of the bed. They put your legs in your pants then when you stand they pull them up! Again, good luck and hope it is an easy recovery for you and all the 22nd ladies!! Yay! It's finally your turns!

You sound like me yesterday. I over did it and I suffered for it that evening. It is so easy to try and pick up where you left off once you start feeling better and not realize that you are over doing it. I hope you were able to kick your feet up and relax, and really just get back to feeling better. We share the same surgery date so keep me posted with how your recovery continues. All the best!

Welcome! I'm new as well. I browsed for a month before I joined. I went for my first and only consultation and scheduled my appointment before I left. Went back 2 days later and paid. I took the first appointment available which was today, it was a month after my consultation! My consultation was with an extremely reputable surgeon, the only one I was willing to go to! Best decision ever! How was your surgery and how are you healing now?
