Consult Tomorrow... Freaking Out

Tomorrow is my consult for breast augmentation, with lift and/or reduction to correct asymmetry, arm lift and full tummy tuck. This is my third consult, so why suddenly am I freaking out and nervous. I mean the first two consults I was fine, no anxiety no nothing, called got the appointment went in 2-3 weeks later got told what they would do, didn't get to ask any questions or have any input, parted with $200 and walked out and never looked back. This one it took me 3 months to get in to see him. I've emailed him and we've gone back and forth with what I was looking for and what he was willing to do. After the first 2 experiences I wanted to know if I was going to be wasting my time traveling to see this guy. After all that I had a really good feeling until this morning when it hit me my consult is tomorrow. I'm freaking out, either tomorrow goes great, and things move forward or I go back to square one. Why is the one consult that is supposed to be easy the hardest one to go on?

Maybe it's become more "real" for you. Just keep in mind that a consult is just a consult. You're not committing to anything or going under the knife yet. The best thing you can do for yourself is make sure you are comfortable with the doctor you choose and the decisions you make together.

Whatever money you part with at consultations is an investment in yourself, so don't stress about that, either.

I can understand what you're saying, my first 2 consults went fine not great but ok, although I wasn't satisfied with either, and I wasn't nervous at either as well. My last consult last Friday I was a nervous wreck, for me it partly had to do with rejection but it just seemed so much more real. Try not to worry too much about it I am sure you'll be fine, just maintain your confidence that You are making the right decision for You.

Thanks, I think a lot of it does have to do with how real this one feels as opposed to the other 2 consults.
