Running After Ba???

Hi ladies,

Just wondering, are any of you ladies runners? I really love running and i'm very concerned that I will be limited after my BA. I definitely do not want to give up running but definitely will not give BA either.
Did anyone have difficulty running after BA?
How long did your PS tell you to wait before resuming running after surgery?
Has anyone ever heard of running causing complications?
Just some of the many thoughts running through my head as I anxiously await my BA DAY

My PS said I could go back to my walking, which sometimes is all I have time for, like on my lunch hour, as long as I didn't raise my heart rate too much, keep it light. That was at a week post-op. He said raising your heart rate too soon could cause bleeding on the inside, something like that. I was concerned too because I didn't want to get flabby... you know after 40 it sneaks back up on you almost instantly. He also said not to run for at least 4 weeks, let the twins heal. I just watched what I ate more than normal, and didn't gain weight. I wish I were as dedicated as you, I go in spurts with working out, and hate myself when I let things get in the way. The new additions look great, but I need to work on the tummy more now.
