Do overs drop and fluff?

I know when you go under the muscle you have dropping and fluffing, but when you get overs do you experience the same thing? Or with overs when you wake up from surgery that's what you get (aside from the swelling of course)? I keep reading all the threads and even when people get overs the advice is wait til they d&f. So I am confused as to what to expect. I am getting overs due to some sagginess and not wanting to get a lift. So after surgery should I expect to see what I'm going to end up with basically or will there be a lot of changes like dropping and fluffing?

I have overs for the same reason your getting them...I wouldn't say that I've experienced any fluffing, but mine definitely dropped. It just happened a lot quicker (2 & 2.5 wks) than it would have if I'd gone w/ unders. I think that what you see is what you get when you wake up, minus the swelling of course. My swelling is all gone now too. It has been 1 month today.

When you wake up from surgery, basically, what you see is what you get...although obviously the swelling goes down within the first month usually, and they settle...many girls with overs (me included) experience a degree of dropping and fluffing , it's not as noticeable as with unders..mine happened around month 5, and my ps told me at 8 weeks I was done! so it just goes to show....
But there won't be any drastic changes like with unders...HTH x

Denese will become famous soon enough
I switched to overs after having unders for a year. I switched for the same reason you are getting them. Overs don't d/f like unders do. They are still a little high & will drop some, but not nearly as much as unders. In looking back through my progression pics, they were still changing a little even after 6 months. But, I'd say the majority of the most obvious changes in appearance were within the first several weeks.

Mine dropped, but I don't think they fluffed very much, maybe a little as the skin expands from the implant. I had a good amount of swelling, but strangely enough, I didn't look smaller or fit the bras any differently after it went down. It seemed like the swelling was only between my breasts and an little on top of the implants. Once swelling was gone, they had the natural slope, versus a "bump" on the top of the implant.

Don't mind at all. My surgeon is Dr. Derek Shadid. I'm scheduled for surgery Sept. 26. I really like him. He's pretty conservative but will go big if you want him to. Listens to what you want and then tells you the pros and cons. HTH. Do you have a surgeon yet?

Smile

Actually I had my ba and BL Mon. (Sept. 17) I live in TX but got on internet and researched PS's I went to Dr. Panchal in Edmond, I LOVE him, I called for a consult with ur PS, I was going to try to get it for the same day I had already schd. with Panchal since I was going to be driving 200 miles, but he was going to be out of town, actually country, he was going to be in Italy that week! My consult with Panchal went great, that was on Wed. Sept. 5 and he could schedule my surgery for 9/17/07 so I went with him. I was impressed with your ps by what read and saw, but after seeing Panchal and his ladies, I had a good feeling, I am 2 days post op and very happy so far!! We stayed in Edmond after surgery Mon. and went to see him 9;00 am Tues. Morning, He said evrthing looked great, he would see me 4-6 wks if I needed him before dont hesitate to call or email, I ended up with complete lift, and Adjustible Saline unders, filled to 450 cc, he said if I wanted to go bigger at next appt, 11/2/07 he would fill more!!! Do u know of him or any of his work?

Congrats on your new girls!!! I'm glad everything has gone so well. No sorry I don't know anything about your PS. My sister had gone to Dr. Shadid and he did such a wonderful job that's why I chose him. I'm getting nervous but very excited for my surgery next week. I hope it goes as well as yours did.

Wink

Is your ps in practice with his dad, but dad doesnt do ba's? I am pretty sure that is who I talked with(his recept) but our schedules did not work out,, Its been about 72 hrs now since my ba and bl, I am down to 7-8 hrs. between pain meds. Feel great, except for a few hot shooting pains every once and a while, I think that is what they call zingers, MAybe? I also get tired and have to rest, I am not trying to overdue it, but move enough that I dont get so sore and stiff, I am going to take a rest now, zzzzzzz talk to ya later!
