What to expect 2 weeks after op?

Hey
This may seem like a silly question but how obvious is a breast augmentation 16 days after surgery? I know that the healing process is unique and depends a lot on your body, but from experience will the swelling have gone down? Should there still be any movement restrictions etc?
Thank you in advance for your responses

I went to church when I was 12 days post op, and it was not a big deal.. Mine only had that frankenboob high square look for the first week, then they started to drop pretty quick!! Good Luck!!

I came back to work a week after my surgery and even though they were still pretty swollen and high no one seemed to notice. I did a good of hiding and not wearing anything to low cut. Not until I wore a low-cut shirt to work did people realize I had my boobs done lol

GOOD LUCK!

Hi! I'm two weeks post op as well! I feel great. I think I'm pushing it too much though because I feel great and I'm ready to go back to my normal routine but I have to remind myself that it's going to take a while to heal still. Ugh! I just want to be wearing nice bras and cute shirts and bathing suits! I'm super impatient at this point!

I can imagine, i'm already kind of impatient just want to have all this done and be happy with my new boobs!
I'm hoping I'll be able to be back to school on wednesday, my surgery is on saturday! :S
And I'm seeing my whole family again 16 days after and I'm a bit nervous that I'll either be in bad shape or it'll just be obvious in general which would be a bit awkward since some of my family is quite conservative!

I didn't have full range of movement and certain things still hurt, like buckling up. My back hurt more than my boobs! I never had frankenboob but they were still high and I thought it was noticeable but it really was like I was wearing an awesome pushup bra.

I am a little over 2 weeks po and doing great. No pain from BA and tightness has gone. I have started walking again, but I have to wait 2 more weeks to work out. I went back to work after 1 week and no one could tell. I got 400cc left and 470cc right. They disappear under clothes. It is fun trying on clothes that enhance the girls, lol.

I'm 16 days post-op & went back to work after week 1. Most of my swelling has gone but if I over do it my breasts will feel a little tender. Also there are still some mornings that they feel pretty tight. Happy healing ladies!!!

momofSPA will become famous soon enough
I am 16 days post op today and I feel great! My only complaint, and this isn't a common thing, is my boobs feel like sandpaper is against them. The pain level is low but it is annoying. That started at day 9. I started driving my manual transmission yesterday instead of the automatic and I returned to exercising a little bit yesterday just not letting my heart rate get up too high and taking it really easy on anything upper body that doesn't feel quite right. I am still high but they are softening. I don't think they look funny in clothes. No one notices that I had anything done because I just went for a proportional size.

You will be fine, my surgery was on a Friday and I returned to nursing school on that next Wednesday! I had my surgery the Friday before Easter and I had to see my family AND my boyfriends family. No one could tell at all! If you're worried about it just wear a loose flowy top; that's what I did! I returned to work after a week and my job (nurses assistant) is very physical. I'm trying to take it easy but talk about the worst job to return to after a BA! Happy healing!

At 2 weeks I was doing great - feeling good and boobies looking human. Still had lifting restrictions, but could go about my normal activity, drive easily, etc.

My swelling was gone after a week, but they were all up in my collar bone for a few weeks, so they still looked pretty weird at 2 weeks. Also, they didn't move around much... they were sort of "bolted on"... that took several weeks to change as well.

Usually you aren't supposed to lift more than 10 lbs for a few weeks. Also, at 2 weeks po, I was still getting sore by the end of the day, just doing normal day-to-day stuff.

Six weeks is the gold-standard for when they look & feel more normal, and you typically have no restrictions at that point.
