Tomorrow Is The Day!

After all of the emotions, tomorrow I will have my breast augmentation / lipo surgery. Funnily enough, at the moment I am feeling really excited! The bf and I are going shopping for a new bra for me. I realize this is a bit premature...as I don't know what size I will exactly be. But we will have a look around to see what they have.

My surgery time is around 9am Netherlands time. I'll update when I'm able to! Thanks to everyone on here who has been supportive and kind.

Good luck, girl! I'm sure you will do great. I bet you're excited about bra shopping even though it is early. Just keep the tags so if it doesn't fit, you can return it and get one bigger.

sxydancer, I wish you the best! How are you feeling? It is almost 11pm here and my tummy is doing flip flops! I had my boyfriend's Mom give me the shot in my stomach that is to prevent thrombosis (it was recommended by my PS).

keryfree is also due for her breast augmentation tomorrow. Good luck to you two ladies. It's great to know I'm not alone. It's such a strange feeling!!

wow, some of the ladies having their surgery tomorrow seem so calm...

mine is still some time away, and i'm already starting to flip out

but HEY...it is defnitely encouraging to see people back on the forum the very same day...i'm so looking forward to my boobies too

Well here I am, laying in bed in my sports bra. The surgery took 4 hours on Monday. I had lower body lipo, too. That's why it took so long.

Waking up from the anesthesia was easy for me. I wasn't given anything heavy like sodium pentethol but something else that was a light anesthesia. I was not ill and in fact felt really hungry about 3 hours after I was in recovery! I ate a sandwich and slept a lot.

I was due to stay in the hospital for 2 nights, but asked if I could go home the next day after being in for just over 24 hours from my surgery finish time.

The first 2 days were difficult getting out of bed. I'm now on day 3 of my recovery and am able to get out of bed slowly.

The lipo doesn't hurt nearly as bad as I thought. My boobs feel incredibly tight and on the large side. Of course, it's because I'm not used to them yet.

The worst part was having the drains removed (yesterday). One side hurt like hell when they pulled it out and it felt like that magic trick where they pull on the coloured scarf and it just keeps coming and coming. Owie! But that was really the worst of it.

My bf made pics of me marked up before surgery. NOW....I am just waiting for the swelling of everything to go down!

I hope this pain is worth it. I'm not going to lie. There IS pain and discomfort. Sleeping is not continuous or easy. Roll on time!
