Did anyone get stretch marks?

Did anyone who went up several cup sizes end up with stretch marks?

The before/after pictures I've seen, it seems that the girls with stretch marks in the "after" picture already had them in the "before" and they just got stretched out more. I don't have any right now but I'm going up several cup sizes (AAA to B/C) and I really hope I don't get any....

none for me! and i am definitely way bigger than my old AAs (think i'm a 32C ish). i would have thought stretch marks would appear because the tissues are expanding so fast, but i haven't heard of someone who has gotten them yet. i think everyone has different skin elasticity so that could be a factor, too.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news.... but i didn't have stretch marks before... and i got them after.

they came in about 2 months after my BA, and they're the pink/purple kind. i went from a 34A to a 34DDD (probably really a 34D but I can only fit the bigger sizes... i got 500cc unders). the stretchmarks are starting to fade already though.

they don't bother me personally totally worth it in the long run...

I heard you can put cocoa butter on them before/after the BA and that helps, did you try that?

Or was it vitamin e oil... hmm i dont remember

I didn't get any- I have really tight, thick skin too from what PS said. My size (400cc started 32B) prob. isn't too drastic though. IDK why some get them and some don't. Prob same reasons some get them from growing, wt. changes, pregnancy, etc. and other don't.

I had some from puberty, but now they are much more noticeable. And, honestly, I think I have some new ones too. It sucks, but I think they will fade and be less obvious. The weird thing is that I have two kids and did not get a single stretch mark on my stomach. So I don't know why I'm getting them on my boobs... maybe my skin is weaker in that area?

I went from a AA to a D and i didnt get any stretch marks.

I do not know if that was because my PS did not put in anymore cc's than my body could handle, it was because i used bio-oil in the month leading up and still do since or just because i never was going to get any.

not sure if my mom has them but i'd guess i'm "prone" to maybe getting them, because i have some on my hips and a little on my thighs, they are really really light and unnoticeable at least though (not the purple type). but im a REALLY skinny girl so if i already have some then i dont know what will happen when my skin is stretched a lot.. :-/

i used lotion and cocoa butter prior to surgery.. AND after... and yet i still got like 3 or 4 of those reddish purple stretch marks on the underside of each boob... where the old crease is stretching and smoothing out. mederma is helping a little and thankfully as time is going on they are just fading on their own.

ugh it still sucks though

I got a few new ones on my right breast, but they're not too noticeable. They faded to white within a month or so. My rightie was smaller and had less sag than my leftie so I think that's why.

I didn't get any stretch marks, but I kept them really moisturized before and after. I didn't really get any when I was pregnant either. I made sure to moisturize a lot. When I was pregnant the dr. said it wouldn't matter and that if I was going to get stretch marks, I was just going to get them. I don't think I really believe that. I believe if your skin is moisturized then it's going to stretch better like anything else when it's lubricated. After all, we make sure to moisturize our faces to help combat wrinkles. The only place I ended up with marks from baby is on my butt, a place I did not put lotion. Belly and boobs were fine and they both got humongous!

no matter what people say... if you're going to get stretch marks, you'll get them. bio oil MIGHT help a teeny bit but i have a family member who is a dermatologist, and i looked into it like CRAZY before my BA but my PS swore up and down that nothing i did would prevent them...

but i am really not that worried-- all the females in my family have them on their (natural) boobs, and my sister's stretchmarks are almost identical to mine! (i just had to pay $6000 to get mine, hahahaha)

Me too, well I didn't use Vit E or bio oil because they make me break out, but I moisturized religiously for a month before, twice a day, and on for several weeks after the surgery. Still got them. I get stretch marks very easily, I have lots from just weight gains and losses and puberty. I think that's just the way my skin is. Lucky for me however my stretch marks are very light and they just show up as stripes, they don't get indented or get a texture or anything. So I'm fine with them, it really takes special lighting and talent to spot them.
