Had my pre-op and photos!!

Hello - I had my pre-op and photos today, and it all seems alot more real now!

My photos were OK, just felt a bit weird to be standing in front of a complete stranger, topless! Then had my pre-op which was all fine. Just the usual heap of medical history questions, urine sample, blood sample, weight, blood pressure, paid for the hospital part of my surgery and also had a look around the ward where I'll be staying overnight. It's a very nice private ward and all rooms are ensuite with TV/telephone etc, and visitors can come and go whenever and stay as long as they like which is great (although it'll only be hubby).

My surgery has been confirmed as 6pm next Friday so I will get to the hospital at 2pm. Apparantly my PS likes to keep people in for around 24 hours so I don't expect to be back home until quite late on Saturday night. Now I'm just trying to get my head round all the logistics of where the kids are, who has them, when hubby can come to see me etc. Doesn't help that my parents are out of the country until next Thursday so I can't really talk with them about all the arrangements yet.

Suddenly it feels very real, and surreal too! I can't wait now!!

hi tam! im so happy for you, how excited must you be!! i remember being so excited i didnt no what to do with myself!! i see you are from the uk...me to!

Congrats! This is the exciting part now....but I know also the nervous part LOL It was very surreal for me too, but I wanted it so bad that I just kept thinking about the light at the end of the tunnel instead of the actual procedure, pre-op, etc. Good luck to you! Do you know what cc's and type of implant you are going to be getting?

I know what you mean about standing topless in front of a complete stranger. As im having a FTT with my breast augmentation I had to stand there almost naked, I didnt know where to look especially when he was prodding my saggy belly and squeezing my fat bits
