Pre op was today!pumped then sad :( must vent

I had my pre op with my doctor and I was SOOO excited! He measured, felt around and we talked about size and possible complications...you all know the drill. After we got done with the serious talk about everything, we talked about what size I wanted...WELL he thinks i'm hilarious but he knows I'm serious, I told him I wanted porn star boobs and he talked about actual size and we settled on HP Inamed saline 700 cc's overfilled (I'm already a stuffed C so were going for FULL E)....OK SO IM REALLY PUMPED! So I paid for em and he ordered my impant because he doesn't carry that large on a normal basis and that made it REALLY REAL, Then I went and bought zip up jackets, bio oil for after, a sports bra just whole nine yards. I was just geeked. THEN I came home... My mom in the car is like I think there gona be too big your only 5 feet tall! and then when I get home, A girl I know had hers done by him, WELL she just isn't all that happy...She says her boobs look great and are a hundred percent improvement from before but they arent as big as she wanted. She told him she wanted stripper boobs and in the same sentence ask for a DD...

OK so she has a DD now but not stripper boobs, but she was just really downin him. and then she's like he wont do them that big, you'll be dissapointed, he's rough in surgery, ya know just all these neg things and I just keepin thinkin but you ask for dd's! he gave what you ask for!!! He can't help that it wasn't what was in your head! She's like "everybody you talk to says that he didn't go as big as they wanted", but in my opinion most people dont look before they leap they think a D is HUGE boob and in all reality it's not as big as they thought...they dont try rice tests and ask questions. Where I'm from everybody goes to him, I'm afraid to go to someone I have no personal references on and I've seen his work they look amazing. I can live with smaller ones if they are nice, but he's agreed to give me what I want! Even ordering them! I'm just really depressed now, I was soo excited and now im just blah. I just want to go to bed and not talk about them to anyone local till there here and are beautiful like he's promised. This is something I've wanted for a long time and I was so happy but the negativity just got me down. I was bummed enough that I have to wait till the 29th of Feb to get em now I'm just bummed that it seems like nobodies happy for me.I can't tell my grandparents they'd freak(once they are there what can they do about it?) My mom told a couple cousins and they were all like she doesn't need them whats she want that for or who's she trying to keep up with?AHHHHHH!!!!!!!Nobody!!! I'm me and this is what I want because I don't think I'm horrible without them but why not be a little happier? I guess I expected a little more support from the people closest to me. I just dont understand. I would be supportive, If I thought it would make you happy then GREAT! Go for it! He's a truely great PS and he can only do what is asked of him. Anybody have any stratagies on how to kick these blues?

Hi, I have 2 quick suggestions:

1) Tell your mom to stop telling other people about your breast augmentation. She told your cousins for you? Why? It's no one else's business if you don't want it to be. You are the only one who should be telling people about your breast augmentation.
Some people won't be supportive - you can't help that. But that's what we're here for on this forum, because this is a really supportive group

2) Most Plastic Surgeons will only put in as large an implant as your body will fit. If you can only fit a 13 cm wide implant, you won't get a 14 cm wide implant, plain and simple. You may be able to fit 700 CC's, but if you can't, you won't get that many.

So if you found someone you think is a great PS, and you love his other work, then just trust him to do his job and give you a great looking chest.

Your PS is probably looking out for your best interest. Some people's bodies can hold larger implants than others. Like me, I got 350cc and that's the max my body could handle. My PS let me know that I had the choice to go bigger but risk serious complications. Sure any breast augmentation comes with the chance of getting any kind of complication but the risk would be increased by going bigger than my body could handle. So I trust him very much and agreed to go my max of 350cc and am very happy.

Don't let the jealousy get to you. Your cousins just wish they could get one I'd bet and I'd bet anything that your girlfriend is just mad because she thinks you are gonna have better boobies!

wow, sounds like that girl is terrified that you'll end up bigger than she did. luckily pettiness is ignorable lol

so sorry to hear everyone around you couldn't be happy for you. but you do need to trust your PS and know that he *does* have your best interest at heart and in his medical expertise

Sounds like your friend has a touch of boobie greed. And how does she know he was rough in surgery when she was out?

If you're only 5' tall and are getting 700cc implants you're gonna get to porn star boobs for sure!

My mom has a big mouth and she's got a little boobie greed herself

but she's also like talking to a wall. She doesn't have any buisiness telling others for me and it kinda ruined it cause I was thinkin about makin it a suprise but ohh well to that idea!
I think yall are right about my friend too, She said he was rough in surgery because she was still somewhat sore 6 mos later....She says one of her ribs is really painful. but I don't know that it can be contributed to his fault? maybe?any of yall had that prob? but she also has a two year old and didnt rest very well during recovery. She was up and doing things the day she came home. she also said that her crease incision looked jagged?

(among other various complaints) but I've talked with him a few times, He measured my body and said that I could def handle it because I'm built with a wider frame and I trust him enough to know that if I wake up smaller its because thats the best he could do. one of my moms friends had Gastric bypass lost 200lbs and had reconstructive breast surgery and hers look like a natural breast with implants instead of boobs with heavy scars and stuff. I'm just so excited and it sucks that people are so petty that they won't be happy for me, especially when it's the ones I counted on the most. I've only been a member here a little bit and honestly I count on the people and posts here for support more than anthing else! you ladies are amazing. Thanks and lookin forward to more imput.
