implants and pregnancy
for those that had implants before they got pregnant, did the pregnancy have an effect on your implants or the way your boobs looked?

Threads that don't get prompt responses tend to get buried, so a bump just bumps it back to the top of the list
![]() My best friend has 5 year old implants and a 2 month old baby. It's too soon to tell whether pregnancy & breastfeeding will change her breasts, but she looks fabulous. They're really big- implant plus all that nice baby boob you gain, and she says they feel more natural than ever. Sorry, that's not all that much help!

My friend has silicone overs she told me her boobs used to be perkier but only by like 3cms I've seen her boobs and they look awesome they're perky no sag. She's only replacing hers because of a ruptured implant. Hard to say what will happen. Same with stretch marks you can't predict them even if you use cocoa butter, etc

Pregnancy & nursing with implants
Hi!
I had implants 13 years ago and have since been through two pregnancies and three years of nursing. My implants were not a problem for nursing at all (I am not sure where they were placed - long time ago :-( ), but after it was all done I felt that my original/natural volume was seriously diminished, only the implants seem to be responsible for my volume now (went from B to C, now am a B but naturally would probably be an A). I have always been diligent about wearing bras (also at night) and have no sagging, which is quite amazing (lot of size variation along the way (miss that DD!) and I am 37y), so my personal conclusion is that the natural volume may go down but your implants will of course still be the same. Warmly, Bloom

Here's a really random question, related to this topic:
Has anyone gotten only one implant to correct asymmetry? How did your boobs look throughout a pregnancy? That's my big concern....that my bad boob (the one that didn't listen to puberty's call, lol) won't grow when I go through pregnancy (it doesn't grow when I lose/gain weight) but the other one will, making me have asymmetry all over again. Kind of out there, lol, but it doesn't hurt to throw it out there. Thanks 'kariev34' for posting the original question.

Perhaps this is unusual but my sister had implants in her 20's, had a baby in her 30's and when that pregnancy (no nursing) was finished, her boobs were a wreck!
in a bra they looked fine but when she showed me herself braless, my eyes were bugging out. her implants were still high under the muscle but her natural breast tissue was drooped down (what naturally does tend to occur to some after pregnancy). she had 4 boobs! she has since had a lift and was reimplanted. she's back to having 2 boobs again. ![]() (and in the course of just a few hours i've commented on my boobs, my moms boobs & now my sisters boobs... we're one implanted family! LOL!! ) |
