What is the best way to finance for your BA and how did you do it?

I originally thought that I (or my parents rather ) were going to pay for it out of pocket, but it turns out the surgery is going to cost a lot more than we expected.
We were thinking in the ballpark of about $6,500 to $7,000, but it turns out that it is going to cost between $8,000 and $8,500!!!!
I am debating taking out a loan for the difference or maybe even for the whole thing
What is the best way to finance your BA?
How did you finance yours?

Yeah, I'm trying to find out how I'm going to pay for mine too! Just start saving money or talk to your PS about financing options....a lot of people on here have used carecredit or captialone I believe.

I was looking into Care Credit, is that what you used? Is it a good deal?
The interest rates seem low enough on your website but I'm postive that varies with one's credit history

I would go to CareCredit.com and try to apply there. Or theres another finance company called ...*************.org. I was also informed that you can almost go to any bank and just pull out a personal loan as well. I am also looking into the financing as well for a breast augmentation! Good Luck!

No I didn't use it but I probably should have as my interest rate is pretty high on my VISA!

I'm in college and I get extra money back from scholarships, So I'm using that and I took out a student loan for the extra 1000 I had left over to pay. Gives me the option to pay now or wait till I graduate if your in college and even if you dont have scholarship left overs, they often offer loans that have super low interest rates, pay now or later options, and your allowed to use the money for whatever you want. Dont know if its an option for you but it's an idea! GOOD LUCK!~!

I am going to use my tax refund and my husbands and put it toward my surgury. Then, put the rest on my credit card. Then, when I get a special transfer rate, transfer it at a lower apr.

ps-we have Care Credit for dental work..it isn't that good of a rate after 3 months....16.9%..with good fico score???

We were going to pay cash, but we got hit hard my Uncle Sam last year, so we ended up financing through Care Credit. At the time there was a no interest for 18 months option available, so that is what we did. I almost have it paid off.

I just used my tax refund for all but $700 of it... I don't have good credit, so I just have to keep contributing out of each paycheck until it's paid... I have a couple months get it all paid Unless anyone has a suggestion for a small loan for someone with not so good credit...

How does one take out a student loan on a breast augmentation?

I started saving for my BA the moment I started thinking about it ... back when I thought it may just be something I think about, and never actually do. I wanted the money there just in case, because I knew I would never take out a loan for it. I figured that if I never got the BA, I could instead put the money towards my student loans.

So I paid cash for mine, and I noticed afterwards that my PS's fee turned out to be $500 less than my original estimate. I wonder if that's because I paid cash.

I also have poor credit, and because we are getting a hefty tax Return back, (THANKS KIDS!) I will be paying cash for the BA and the stay in Albuquerque.
My hubby qualifies for the loans, but won't let him transfer the money for MY surgery. So I guess he'll get LASIK.....
Anyway....that all there is to say about that....
