My PS told me to start taking extra Vit C a few weeks before hand, so that's what I've been doing. I hope you don't get sick!!

I'm in the same situation! First my son, then my stepdaughter, and now my other son. With surgery less than 2 weeks away, I'm a bit worried about it! I've been taking Vit C and Zinc. I learned in my microbiology class that zinc inhibits virus replication. Here's a little article: http://www.virology.ws/2009/11/04/zi...s-replication/ it isn't just rhinovirus, I do believe it is effective on al viruses. Not sure about the vitamin C tho.

I totally understand! DH was sick on and off all weekend. Ugh. Better not be contagious. I use zinc for that as well, and I swear it works!

Another piece of advice, try not to stress over it too much, and jut take precautions . I know that's so much easier said than done! But sometimes you CAN get sick just from stress. I got shingles in June from wedding stress. Thank god it flared up after my wedding, and healed up BEFORE my BA!

Take vitamin C, drink plenty of OJ or keep yourself hydrated, and constantly be washing your hands. Yes I agree with Cyclegirl, don't stress. The mind is a powerful thing, don't think that you are going to get sick. I will be keeping my fingers cross for you..

I like emergenC I usually take those and wash my hands quite a bit when a lot of coworkers start getting sick I can usually bypass it. Just take precautions like someone above said. I wouldn't stress to much about it. Congrats on your BA!

I understand your worries, but stay positive and just "know" you're not gonna catch it. Exercise tons, that helps strengthen the immunsystem. Focus, focus, focus on that your healthy! Best of luck with your exiting upcoming new shape!
